More and more people choose to spend a sailing holiday with us and the reason is simple: unique sunsets , starry skies, unexpected colors , new scents .

A sailing holiday is all this and much more. Visiting the Aeolian Islands by sailing is an unforgettable experience, the perfect way to unplug and enjoy the sea!

The age range is about 23-45 years , we will also try to make the crew as uniform as possible according to age and trying to create a mixed group. Over the years, this has always allowed us to see the birth of wonderful friendships and has made all participants spend unforgettable moments!

FUN, RELAXATION, FRIENDS AND... SAILING!

If you like the idea of spending a week in the company of new friends, sailing through the wonderful waters of the Aeolian Islands, then our holiday is for you. You will live aboard a sailboat that will become your home for a week, from which you can dive into the beautiful waters of the Grotta del Cavallo or Panarea and admire breathtaking sunsets against the backdrop of Stromboli, all between aperitifs, music, fun and relaxation.

A FEW PREVIEWS...

We will embark on Saturday afternoon from Marina di Portorosa and we will start our holiday with an initial dinner all together to get to know each other. On Sunday we will leave at dawn and our first stop will be Vulcano, where we will let ourselves go to relaxation between dives and aperitifs and dinners. In the following days we will pass through the island of Salina, Panarea, Lipari with their beautiful beaches; we will then admire the majesty of Stromboli which will be the backdrop to our sunsets. We will end the week with a fantastic closing party and we will return by 8:00 am to Marina di Portorosa.

Those who participate in our flotilla holidays in the Aeolian Islands love the sea, fun and life on a sailing boat.

Our itinerary, organized and common to all boats, includes moments in which we will swim in the most beautiful roadsteads of the Aeolian Islands and discover hidden places that can only be reached by sea and moments of fun on the boat and on land (aperitifs, dinners, parties, excursions).

In addition, life on board involves everyone's collaboration, taking care of one's own spaces and maintaining the order of the equipment.

ECONOMY Line - Barca a vela

The Cyclades 50.5 is a sailboat of about 15.5 meters designed by Bénéteau to offer comfort and ease of navigation. With 5 cabins and 3 bathrooms, it accommodates up to 10 people in large and bright spaces, ideal for groups or families. The large cockpit with double wheelhouse, the well-organized deck and the cozy interior make sailing pleasant and relaxed. Perfect for flotilla cruises or holidays in total comfort, it combines practicality and conviviality on board.

Layout: 5 cabins-3 bathrooms OR 4 cabins-2 bathrooms. There is always 1 bathroom for every 2-3 people (including the staff)!

Leg 1

Saturday - Marina di Portorosa

In the afternoon boarding from Marina di Portorosa organization for the galley, accommodation on board, dinner all together and initial party to get to know each other

Leg 2

Sunday - Vulcano

We will leave early in the morning to arrive in the morning in Vulcano, where we will take a nice dip in the wonderful cave of the Horse and a lunch all together, if possible as a package. In the afternoon we will sail to Salina where we will moor to spend the night. We will go ashore in Santa Marina to have a nice aperitif all together and then spend the evening on the island.

Leg 3

Monday - Stromboli

Departure for Pollara, also on the island of Salina, swimming and lunch in Lingua where it will be possible to eat Alfredo's typical cunzato bread. In the afternoon sailing on Stromboli, swimming all together in relaxation and dinner on the boat. Departure at night to sail under the sciara del fuoco where, with a little luck, it will be possible to admire the eruptions of the Volcano. Evening all together on land and night at anchor in Stromboli.

Leg 4

Tuesday - Panarea

Quick swim in Strombolicchio, morning of swimming between Basiluzzo and Lisca Bianca. Mooring at the buoy in Panarea and fantastic aperitif at the Raja all together, dinner on the island and then evening with the whole flotilla. Night at anchor at the buoy in Panarea.

Leg 5

Wednesday - Lipari

We will sail from Panarea to Lipari, with swimming at anchor in the crystal clear blue water of the Pumice Quarries. Sunset sailing and mooring in the port, dinner and evening in Lipari.

Leg 6

Thursday - Faraglioni di Lipari

We will go to the Faraglioni of Lipari, splendid baths and excursions with the tender in beautiful coves. In the evening, if possible, night at anchor in Vulcano, dinner and evening package.

Leg 7

Friday - Cala Gelso

Navigation to take a nice dip at the wonderful Cala Gelso, a lunch all together and leave around 14:30 for the Marina di Portorosa with return around 18:00. Evening on land and closing party of the holiday.

Saturday - Marina di Portorosa

Disembarkation expected by 8:00 am.

I booked this holiday through Sailsquare also because the very high score shown on the platform had given me confidence in the quality of the experience and the organizer. If I hadn't seen such a positive rating, I probably wouldn't have made the reservation. Unfortunately, the actual experience was very different from the expectations created by the presentation and the program. Different Sailing was at its first organizational experience in Greece, a circumstance that we discovered only during the holiday. Several aspects of the itinerary and the local organization seemed to be verified and defined directly during our week, while before departure we had received a detailed program that suggested an already structured and tested experience. There were also delays, long waiting times, technical problems with the boats and missing equipment. On our boat, among other things, the generator was not working and further malfunctions occurred. Some flotilla activities expressly indicated before departure, such as the Fluo Party and the Hawaiian Party, have not been carried out. Time management has also significantly reduced the quality of the week, with late departures, stays and waits in ports and a final return several hours earlier. The problem was the gap between the level of organization I expected based on the description, the program and above all the high score on Sailsquare, and the experience I actually received. Precisely for this reason I think it is important to leave this review: those who book through a platform also rely on the ratings shown to understand what to expect. In my case, that high score had an important weight in the choice and, in light of the experience, I do not consider it representative of the quality of the holiday I purchased.
