This experience, in a nutshell

The Obsidian Way was called the route that led to this stretch of the Mediterranean.

From prehistoric man to the ancient Romans and then to our days it has never stopped to take the route that leads to the Aeolian Islands .

Their beauty and particularity has always attracted and fascinated. We will retrace aboard of our sailboat sections of sea rich in historical and natural beauty :-)

Born from the impetuous fire of the volcanoes, these islands present themselves in a more peaceful way with no more eruptions (except for Stromboli) and with their mountain slopes rich in a typical Mediterranean flora.

Carrying out this tour by sailing boat already tested by several crews, you can sail for about 220 miles in the marine area assigned by Zeus to "Aeolus of the Wind". For reasons of time the best lap to be scheduled must include the possibility of visiting at least 6 of the 7 islands.

It was a pleasure to be guests of Pasquale, a competent, attentive, helpful, generous and nice skipper! His boat is very nice and is very well maintained: very comfortable, tidy and clean. There are masks and fins available for everyone and a Sup board to take fantastic baths in the beautiful coves where he took us. At Pasquale's suggestion, obviously by mutual agreement, we have always slept in the roadstead, under starry skies never seen in our lives! By not mooring in the port we saved a lot of money and we always went ashore with the tender. We visited all the various villages, ate granita and dined in typical restaurants, we saw breathtaking sunsets and we climbed to the top of Vulcano. From the boat we witnessed the eruptions of Stromboli, very exciting! What is important is that Pasquale is also a sailing instructor, so, in the unfortunately few moments of wind, we had fun sailing. Another thing that is very important to me is that we have always used the dishes from the boat, as well as being more beautiful, we have avoided throwing away a bag of plastic, which had happened to us in the two previous experiences, going a bit in contrast with the style of vacation, where nature is the protagonist and must be respected. Beautiful experience, super recommended!

— Alice & Alessandra
