This experience, in a nutshell

The boat allows you to live autonomously with 8 people, in minimum comfort. No need to go ashore for supplies, showers, toilets.

We will go just for the pleasure of walking around, of discovering. So I carefully choose the stopovers so that everyone can find something to their liking.

But it's an active holiday. We prefer sites of unspoilt nature, and there are many of them in Brittany! Refrain from participating if you prefer to spend time in the city, in the shops... It won't be every day!

On the other hand, marvel at the landscapes, swim, walk, cycle, sail... In short: moving is the right choice!

Your stay will totally disconnect you from the hectic life.

Our itinerary

We will leave the splendid port of Vannes, located in the city center, at high tide to follow the canal and reach the Gulf of Morbihan. There we can make one or two stopovers, at the Ile d'Arz and the Ile aux Moines, to discover on foot or by bike these charming localities and almost without a car.

Then we will set sail to the islands of Houat and Hoedic  to spend the night and enjoy the immense beaches and natural landscapes. To improve our manoeuvres, we will also be able to tack one or more towards La Trinité, a Mecca for offshore racing where exceptional yachts are stationed.
Then we will go to Belle-île. This stopover deserves a day of visits, walks and bike strolls, departing from the small port of Sauzon. Then we will set sail for the island of Groix, a day's sail away. This small island of character is also worth an in-depth visit, with its history linked to the rise of tuna fishing by sail, still nearby. If the weather is good, we will be able to push on to the river of Belon. A site appreciated by oyster lovers and walks in the forest.
Finally, we will enter the harbour of Lorient to find a mooring in Port Louis, a stone's throw from the city. The possibilities for visits are numerous: the citadel and the museum of the East India Company, the typical alleys of the village, and with the river shuttle we can visit the submarine base and the City of Sailing and admire the latest or old racing boats.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

At first, from my son Guglielmo , a special thanks to J.B. for his prompt interest and kind concern when we had problems to get in touch because of my smartphone (next time better an e sim). Than, even if i'm not exactly the best guest to have on bord, i received any kind of support to make me feel confortable and enjoy my stay.. You'll find someone who loves his job and who knows how to do it at best. Really good experience thanks also to Adriana, LuLu e Franco. See you soon!

Very nice adventure at sea for this great first for me with Jean Baptiste and the other teammates: Jean Baptiste is passionate, calm, gentle and very pedagogical for the neophyte that I was. Adventure in the middle of nature to discover the Breton islands which are nuggets, also a human adventure on the magnificent sailboat that cuts through the waves and heels as soon as the wind picks up. What a joy to be at one with all the elements: the sails, the wind, the sun, the waves and the luck of having sailed with the dolphins. Can't wait to be able to return to the Mango with my captain Jean Baptiste to cast off again!
