This experience, in a nutshell

This week our sailing boat will sail to the marvelous coves of Giglio Island and the magnificent coasts of Elba Island .
We will embark on Saturday evening in the elegant Marina di San Vincenzo, the tourist port of the city. From here, on Sunday morning we will sail to Elba.

On the first day we will visit Porto Azzurro , a characteristic fishing village, surrounded by golden beaches and the deep blue waters of the sea. The main feature of this country lies in the ability to offer its visitors many interesting activities, being characterized not only by a rich natural heritage, but by an equally precious and varied artistic-cultural heritage.

Monday we will sail until we reach Giglio Island where we will stop for another whole day to circumnavigate the island and explore its beautiful bays: the lonely and wild Cala dell'Allume with its transparent waters and the Cannelle beach , where a very fine and gently degrading white sand will give us colors from tropical seas.

On Tuesday evening, a night sailing will be scheduled to return to Elba. The exciting navigation under a starry vaulted sky will be the most beautiful memory of this splendid adventure. We will then arrive on Wednesday morning in Golfo Stella where we will be able to admire the romantic cove of Innamorata . watched over by the Gemini islets, with the clarity of their waters and the suggestive and incomparable sunsets.
The legend of the Innamorata takes us back to the pirate era and precisely in 1534 and tells us the sad and romantic story of two young lovers: Lorenzo and Maria. In an attempt to save her beloved, kidnapped and dragged by the pirates of Barbarossa, the young betrothed (Innamorata, hence the name of the beach) threw herself into the sea disappearing into the waves. Only his shawl was found on a rock, called the scarf since then.
In the afternoon we will stop en route to Marina di Campo , where we will sleep at anchor in front of the beach.

Thursday we will continue to reach what is considered the most suggestive beach of the island: Fetovavia with its fine beach and its crystal clear waters. For the evening we will head for Marciana Marina , a small jewel of the island. Just five square kilometers of lush nature that develop around the beautiful promenade and its squares, rightly considered real salons overlooked by elegant and well-kept homes of illustrious guests.

On Friday, we will dedicate ourselves to exploring the marvelous bays of Procchio, Biodola and Vitccio .
For the last night the wonderful Gulf of Baratti will welcome us, a perfect combination of a crystal clear sea, a history of important civilizations and the typical nature of the Maremma.
Disembarkation is scheduled for Saturday morning.

Life on board is relaxed and fun, new friends are made and together we collaborate in the management of common life.
Those who want to enjoy the sun and those who want to learn will find in our skipper a valid teacher who will willingly give the helm to those who want to try their hand at running, alongside it with valuable advice.

On board, everyone can freely choose whether to relax and enjoy their holiday in complete relaxation, or whether to try to get involved by experimenting with the maneuvers or taking the helm (with the supervision of the skipper).

Everyone is asked only to participate in the life on board, each as he or she wants and can do, in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration.
A crate will be created on board to support the costs of galley, ports and fuel.

The activities of our association have always been oriented by the ethical values that are the basis of our daily actions: we sail according to the principles of responsible tourism, with respect for the environment to guide us. Our main fuel is the wind and our energy is solar. We will do the separate collection of waste and we will not use disposable plastic dishes.

Magnificent weekend of sailing on the island of Elba

We spent two unforgettable days on a sailboat, lulled by the sound of the waves, despite the not exactly kind weather, We breathed the essentials of an experience at sea that I would do again tomorrow. What we appreciated most was authenticity: a value that we are losing, but that here you rediscover and understand how precious it is and must be protected. We had the privilege of sharing this experience with a wonderful family, With Valentina and her boys we immediately got in tune, united by the passion for the sea. Sandro, the skipper, with his passion and experience, made everything simple and true, allowing us to experience the sea in depth, safely and without haste. The most intense emotion? The sails that swell in the wind, the silence broken only by the hull that cuts through the water, the feeling of freedom that enters you and makes you feel part of the sea. And then dinner on deck under the stars, with the distant lights of the coast and the breeze caressing the skin, while time seems to stand still. A sore point? It lasted too short! We recommend this experience to those looking for a different, intimate, regenerating and authentic weekend, to return home with a lighter heart and full of gratitude.

We had a great time with Sandro, an excellent skipper, a very patient instructor for those who want to approach the world of sailing, a Captain with whom to feel at ease and safe. Clean and comfortable boat. Highly recommended experience! Until next time, Sandro!

Positive experience with some flaws. In fact, this amateur sports association promotes the sharing of life on the boat in unison with all the members. In reality, the skipper himself deprives guests of a freshwater shower, while enjoying it for himself, the concept of sharing is lost. Positive experience for sea, journey and cleanliness. Negative for the skipper's attitude as it was unwelcoming and helpful with respect to the needs and requirements of the guests, every request was a small problem, from disembarking with the tender in port to the denied freshwater shower and not least the constant smell of pipe both inside and outside the boat.

Shooting Star Cruise in Corsica with return at night

Maria M.

Alessandro is a gentle skipper under the rind of the hard and grumpy sailor. Attentive to everyone's needs, he knows how to introduce the crew members to the authentic and essential values of the sea, sharing his skills and opening, sometimes jealously, his boat "[hidden]" to those who, like me, wanted to abandon themselves to the breeze of the wind.
