This experience, in a nutshell

Have you been sailing with friends and been fascinated by this strange world of upwind, mainsails and ropes?

Would you like to understand a little more and participate in life on board with familiarity?

I propose a weekend in which you can learn the basics of sailing a sailboat and feel safer sailing.

The course includes the theoretical and practical basics to safely perform maneuvers and sail adjustment, the basics of navigation along the coast and the planning of the route to follow.

Two certified instructors will follow you and will be able to convey the passion for this world made of wind and sea.

We will depart from Fezzano di Portovenere (SP) and sail between Lerici, Portovenere and Palmaria Island, in a unique setting in the world. If the conditions are slightly adverse we will still be able to practice protected in the Gulf of Poets.

The overnight stay will be on board, and depending on the weather conditions we will decide whether to stop at anchor or in port.

Our itinerary

We embark in Fezzano di Portovenere, a charming seaside village on the Ligurian Riviera.

We will start sailing right away, because we believe that the best way to learn is to test yourself, obviously under the supervision of two certified instructors.

The navigation will take us to admire the villages of Lerici and Portovenere while we practice driving the sailboat, basic maneuvers and adjusting the sails.

At the end of the first day we can decide whether to stop and sleep at anchor or in port, also depending on the weather conditions. Dinner will be on board or ashore, at the discretion of the participants.

On the second day we will continue to practice by also observing the coast and the signs that help us recognize the route to follow.

Return in the evening to Fezzano and disembarkation.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.
