Sailing with me in the heat and the crystalline sea of the Caribbean: let's finish the old well, and let's open the new one!

Short program in principle
Sunday: Departure for the 7 from Grenada to Union Island where, after about 48 miles, we will arrive in the early afternoon. In the meantime, we can try fishing. Even in the lagoon, from the beach you can reach the village in 10 minutes, if you want you can get off on Happy Island which is a bar on a rock to enjoy a cocktail and wait for the sunset.
Monday: Day around the various islands and streets. Frigate Island connected to Union by a thin strip of land, one hour of navigation Mayreau where it moors in a meter of water still giving directly to the beach. Beautiful beach with palm trees, in ten minutes you arrive at the village.
Tuesday: We set sail and in an hour you reach Tobago Cays. Natural park and beautiful place, you swim in crystal clear water, among fish, rays and sea turtles. The lagoon is surrounded by white sandy beaches with palm trees and iguanas. In the evening you can eat at the beach where the fishermen organize grilled lobsters.
Wednesday: Route to Petit Tabac. In an hour you reach the small uninhabited island, a dream place that was the set of Pirates of the Caribbean.
Thursday: Destinations to your choice, you can reach Canouan Island. Then you can start going down and reach Petit St. Vincent.
Friday: Day dedicated to navigation for the return to Grenada, about 7/8 hours but we can spend time fishing. Arrive in Port Louis for 6pm.
Saturday: Disembarkation by 9.00 am and return to Milan.

La Barca: Beneteau Oceanis from 2009
3 double cabins + 1 cabin with bunk beds
2 bathrooms

On board this holiday you will have the advantage not just to dive into relaxation immediately . Unlike other proposals departing from Martinique that provide more than a day of navigation just boarded, we will enjoy only a few hours of travel and then immediately enjoy the sun and sea and start the holiday!

First experience on a sailing boat and it was very nice. Pleasant company and comfortable boat. Too bad for the weather that did not allow us to visit the Cinque Terre, we could certainly have been luckier! I recommend it.

Thanks to my travel companions, the weekend was really enjoyable. Unfortunately we did not sail as planned due to the sea a bit rough and the skipper evidently not very motivated, perhaps tired and fed up. Hospitality is not his forte, let's say so without dwelling on it. But it remains a good memory for the sympathy, the chats and the understanding with the other five women and this still made the experience positive.

An absurd experience to say the least. Rude and opinionated skipper who treated us like we were there to disturb. Dry and annoyed answers, bordering on ruining our holiday. He ate standing with his back to us who nicely reserved his place at the table, offering him everything we had in abundance in the galley. No explanations about the boat or the places to visit. Cinque Terre ? We saw one from afar, and then we were reprimanded by the coast guard, because the boat VERY SERIOUS THING! He did not have permits to navigate in that area. A bay on the first day, a bay on the second day, always around. The listless skipper spent his time lying on the sofa with his feet in the air without even moving when we passed by to cook. I could cite a thousand episodes of coarseness to the nth degree. We tried not to ruin the holiday, but obviously being only two then him, it was difficult. The skipper is important, he leaves you with a good memory. Years ago I spent a wonderful week with a fantastic skipper who made you feel at home. But this time it went badly. My friend, for whom it was the first time on a sailboat, says NEVER AGAIN. I suggest Mr. Renato to direct his interests to other activities, because he is not the right person in this one. And for those who booked after us... I'm sorry! I will make a more in-depth report by writing to the management of Sailsquare, which does not really make a good impression
