This experience, in a nutshell

San Vito lo Capo is truly a corner of paradise, and the Cous Cous Fest represents a festival full of beauty and inclusiveness. The absolute protagonist of the event is couscous, a dish that carries with it a deep history and symbolizes the meeting and integration of Mediterranean cultures.

At the end of September, Sicily offers splendid, clear and breezy days, perfect conditions for sailing in the enchanting waters of this area at the western end of the island.

During the morning we will sail between the Zingaro Reserve, Scopello, Makari and the Monte Cofano Reserve; in the evening, however, we will sleep in San Vito lo Capo to fully experience the culinary and musical events of the Cous Cous Fest!

A sailing story between Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo

First experience of a week on a sailing boat: I can only be enthusiastic! To the itinerary with a "right" navigation for a baptism was added a skipper who was not only technically capable, but also attentive to everything (even to my being a vegetarian) and to everyone's well-being, through a valid program, taking time in the first person also to go and buy the necessary on land and pamper ourselves with the right music playlist. To be added then the reassuring assistance from his team, both before departure and during navigation. The group was varied but in each one there was respect and desire to feel good alone and with others, so much so that no one ever backed down in the daily routine of preparing meals and tidying up the necessary. The boat, [hidden], also proved to be a friend: adequate spaces, functional bathrooms, practical kitchen: a great boat kept to perfection and with care. Finally, the sea of the Egadi Islands is magnificent and even the islands have treasures made up of people to chat with, but also paths to explore. To conclude: the organizational part was excellent but we must not forget that the favor of temperatures, sea and wind - which are an exclusive matter of Jupiter, Neptune and Aeolus - made everything more beautiful and enjoyable.

Stefano was a nice, empathetic and always professional captain. He always reminded us how important safety was on board and in the water and made sure everything was so... in addition to good healthy fun and many beautiful baths in the sea. With him and the rest of the group it was like traveling with friends who respected each other and had fun together, so the experience was very positive. Now friendships remain. The boat is spacious, comfortable, well equipped. The Egadi Islands... Certainly a place that is still "real", remained in the heart and where to return. Till next!

We spent a beautiful week with Stefano and his wife Rosa in Sicily. Stefano is an experienced and patient skipper, Rosa an empathetic and communicative person: together they are a close-knit and enterprising couple, able to better manage a group of different guests, making everyone feel at ease and creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We hope to have another chance to travel with them soon!
