From Rome: take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (A90) southbound and continue on the SS148 Via Pontina towards Anzio/Latina, then follow the signs for Nettuno; the route from Rome to Nettuno is about 60 km long and takes an average of 50-70 minutes, subject to road conditions. From Naples: take the A1 northbound, continue towards the junction with the Roman network and reach the SS148 Via Pontina towards Anzio/Nettuno; The distance is about 200 km with approximate times 2 h 30-3 h depending on traffic. Public parking lots and rest areas are present near the urban center and the seafront.

Reference station: Nettuno (regional line). There are direct connections with regional trains from Roma Termini and Roma Ostiense on the Rome-Nettuno route; approximate times: Roma Termini-Nettuno 50-60 minutes, Roma Ostiense-Nettuno 45-55 minutes. From Naples or the south coast it is possible to reach Nettuno by changing in Formia or Campoleone on regional or intercity trains, with total times varying around 2 h 30-3 h depending on the connections.

Nearest airport: Fiumicino (FCO), about 45-50 km away; transfer options: Leonardo Express train to Roma Termini and then regional train to Nettuno, direct buses to Rome with continuation by train, taxi or car rental; approximate times 1 h 30-2 h by public transport, 50-70 minutes by car. Ciampino Airport (CIA) about 35 km away with bus connections to Roma Termini or metro and subsequent regional train to Nettuno; Approximate times 1 h 15-1 h 45 by public transport, 40-60 minutes by car. Taxi and car rental services are available at both airports.

The skipper – and any crew members, if applicable – sleeps in a dedicated cabin, separate from those reserved for guests, which is not included in the count of guest cabins shown on the boat listing.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

Once embarked and settled in the cabin there will be a short organizational briefing after which, once the common fund has been made, together with the skipper you will go to buy the galley. The galley will then be delivered directly to the boat.

The skipper helps out, but meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience.

Travelling light is recommended: especially in summer, when you will almost exclusively be wearing swimwear, T-shirts, and shorts on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the height of summer, while something warmer is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of bad weather or when sailing. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, flip-flops/sandals for going ashore; if you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful when sailing - they must have white soles and be used only on the boat. It may also be useful to bring a small waterproof container for your wallet/cell phone to use when going ashore. For bed linen and towels, please refer to the “What's included” section.

- Hard suitcase / Trolley - Umbrellas - The hairdryer, hair straighteners and other appliances that work with 220V current (the one at home), which could only be used during any stops in the ports, when the column for connection to the electricity network is available.

A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

Definitely not. Our experiences are within everyone's reach and it will be a pleasure to introduce you to this beautiful world and teach you the first rudiments of navigation. Those who are already experienced, on the other hand, will be able to refine their techniques/knowledge guided by a highly experienced professional skipper-instructor with many miles behind him.

On the boat there are 12v sockets (with USB connection, two sockets in each cabin plus a double in the dinette and another double socket outside, in the cockpit) that can normally be used at any time. The 220v sockets can only be used during stops in ports, once connected to the quayside charging stations.

Sleeping at anchor is undoubtedly the most beautiful thing you can do on a boat... No problem, however, to take a walk, or dinner on land. There are taxi-boats at a cost of € 5 each way per person (to use our tender we would have to sleep inside the port losing the pleasure of waking up in front of a beautiful beach / cliff). In addition, maximum freedom in terms of schedules.
