From Milan: take the A4 motorway towards Venice and exit at Desenzano; from Venice: A4 towards Milan and exit Desenzano; from Verona and Brenner: follow the A22 to the Verona junction and continue on the A4 westbound with the Desenzano exit. From the motorway exit, continue on provincial roads in the direction of the centre and the lakefront; Public parking lots and rest areas are located near the station and the port. For routes from the northern shore of Lake Garda it is possible to use the Gardesana road (state road) which connects the lake centers and leads to Desenzano from the west side of the lake.

🚆 By train
Station: Desenzano del Garda-Sirmione on the Milan-Venice railway line; regional services and some long-distance routes connect the station with Milan, Brescia, Verona and Venice. Approximate times: Milan Central Station ~1 h 10-1 h 30, Verona Porta Nuova ~20-25 min, Brescia ~15-20 min; from Venice Santa Lucia the times are in the order of 1 h 40-2 h depending on the type of train. The station is a short distance from the city center and the lakefront; from the major stations it is possible to continue with direct regional trains to Desenzano.

Nearest airports: Verona Valerio Catullo (VRN) about 25-30 km, Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) about 70-90 km, Milan Linate (LIN) and Milan Malpensa (MXP) respectively about 100-150 km; transfer times vary from 30-40 min (VRN by car/taxi) up to 1 h 40-2 h (MXP by car). Connections: from Verona airport you can reach Verona Porta Nuova station by bus or taxi and continue by train to Desenzano; from Bergamo and Milan there are car rental, taxi and bus services available to the main railway stations from which regional trains depart for Desenzano. Taxis, private transfers and car rental are available at the airports for direct transfer.

If all cabins are occupied by guests, the skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in the dinette.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

No, it is not possible to reserve a single cabin, as all cabins are shared between participants in order to maintain the group travel formula.

The provisions will be purchased jointly by the skipper and the participants.

The skipper helps out, but meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience.
