This experience, in a nutshell

This time we will sail to the south of Sardinia , crossing the east face of the island. Starting from Olbia , we will begin to go down to see a part of the island crossed by caves and rocks that die directly in the sea.

We will pass through places such as Isola Tavolara, Capo Coda Cavallo, Cala Suaraccia or La Spiaggia di lastra Ruia.

Sailing through the Tyrrhenian Sea , which is how this part of the Mediterranean is known, we will go down to where the Gennargentu National Park jumps into the sea and creates a coastline of beauty difficult to describe. We will have already enjoyed places as full of charm as Cala Gonone or the Gulf of Orisei. Our foray into the east of the island will reach Tortolì and Arbatax . Back in Olbia , where we will end our journey, we will continue stopping at equally spectacular places.

My advice don’t go near Sailsquare and find your holidays elsewhere as you risk your security and of course your funds ,. They ask you to pay almost 20% more in order to protect yourself in case you decide not to take the trip for the pur simple of security . In fact I refused to take this trip as the boat was moored in a public quai, with no lights , no fresh water. The skipper had 8 people on board . All his friends . No one spoke either English or French , they were sitting in the dark sine he was not in a Port , his zodiac was on the boat , this boat no way would have the basic norms of navigation. On Saturday all day I called Sailsquare , despite them indicating being open from 10 to 5pm , no one responded. When I fully explained these facts to my horror they refused to refund me. Not to mention the skipper made me sign a contract in Spanish , as clearly he had tried to cover himself , if not who would make you sign a contract unless he knows that his practice is illegal.

There was no shortage of adventures on this splendid journey along the east coast of Sardinia. Every single moment served to make the experience one of the most beautiful of my life: a cohesive group, despite the heterogeneity of language (I was Italian, the other members Spanish) that perhaps enriched us even more, breathtaking landscapes, availability, understanding, sharing and fun. If I could, I would start over. Thank you

Alfons and Gonzalo on the boat and Inma on land form a great and compact team, the trip has been an experience, the crossing from Bcn to Alguero is a mini challenge for those who are thinking about being on the high seas without having to cross the Atlantic.... ;) Sardinia keeps multiple secrets, the visits we did very well but the island gives of itself to return again Thanks for the expedition
