After spending the evening boarding in the fashionable town of
Kos and resting in the ancient Venetian port, the next morning we will head northwest to reach
Pserimos .
On the island we will spend the night moored on the blue waters of the
bay of Vathy .
The following day, on the left hand side, we will reach the deep fjord on
the east coast of Kalimnos , and then, in the evening, visit the town of
Pandeli in Leros . Do not miss the dinner in the delicious tavern "Petrino" which offers delicious mixed meat roasts.
Wednesday morning we will reach the "Caribbean" islets of the
Arcangelos archipelago, and then spend the night under the starry summer sky in the beautiful
Kouloura bay in
Lipsi .
On Thursday morning we will end up in
one of the most spectacular bays of northern Dodecanese :
Tiganakia Bay . A lagoon with magical waters where 9 tiny islands sprout like pearls surrounded by waters of a luminous blue sky. In the evening we will land in
Arki's small port for a delicious fish-based dinner from our friend "Codino".
Friday north-east route, after a stop in the bay of Tolos on the island of
Agathonisi , the island where it is said that silence is its only noise. With its 90 inhabitants it is the place where you can not do anything but rest. On the island there is really nothing to do but taste some excellent Greek cuisine in the only tavern on the harbor.
Saturday morning we will sail north to reach the small Turkish archipelago 4 miles south of Samos consisting of three islets (
Tavsan Adasi, Sandal Adasi and Su Adasi ). A timeless place full of natural coves where to find shelter and spend moments alone with the uncontaminated nature bathing in a crystal clear blue sea.
In the afternoon, we will go upwind to reach
the town of Pythagoras theorem in the evening.
Samos is
an island of a thousand colors where in the air you can smell the scent of wild orchids and at the table you can taste some of the best Greek wines . It is considered a mythical place, it is said that Zeus's wife, Hera, is born here. In addition,
the land is home to the mathematician Pythagoras , the philosopher Epicurus and the astronomer Aristarchus. It was a source of inspiration for Aesop because every village of Samos is full of stories and legends. In Samos, we will not miss the opportunity to see the Eupalino Tunnel, a work of arduous engineering unique in the world. The architect hired by the tyrant Policrate created it 2600 years ago to bring water to the ancient city of Samos.
