This experience, in a nutshell

Let yourself be surprised by the Côte d'Azur and its magic, a landscape characterized by peaks overlooking the sea made of rocks that are first light and then red as you move westwards and on which picturesque villages nestle that are reflected in the clear waters of the Mediterranean. Emotions that can only be experienced in the tranquility of a sailing cruise.

The Côte d'Azur is surprising for its colors and its spectacular nature, it offers corners of paradise that can only be reached by the sea accompanied by the scent of the Mediterranean scrub and Provençal villages rich in history and scents.

We will try to alternate the stops in the roadstead and in the port to give all participants the opportunity to live both experiences, so the choice will be made according to the wishes of the crew in accordance with the weather conditions and the availability of places in the port. The idea is still to take you on a real boat holiday that you won't forget.

The French Riviera with its charming villages and glamorous atmosphere, welcoming bays and a splendid sea, tastes and aromas according to the best French style... This is the sailing holiday you wouldn't imagine! Among the stops it will be possible to reach destinations such as Menton, Cap Ferrat, a refined and exclusive village, Villefranche and Nice, the heart of the whetstone, Antibes , a fascinating fortified city, Cannes and the Lerins Islands , a destination for the most exclusive tourism, St Tropez, a wonderful fishing town transformed into the seat of the most refined tourism and if the time and the desire to sail allow it, the natural park of the islands of Cannes Hyeres and Porquerolles which are authentic exotic-Mediterranean gardens very special.

Any itinerary can be modified according to the crew's wishes, depending on weather conditions. You will find below what we normally propose.

Our itinerary

The departure is from Sanremo, and from the beginning you will be pleasantly surprised by the clear waters of Capo Mortola and Balzi Rossi.

We reach Menton with its scent of lemons and pastel-colored houses, continuing to sail westwards we will find Monaco, Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat which stand out for their sumptuous villas located in a beautiful natural setting that smells of maritime pines.

Continuing on, you reach Nice, one of the oldest port facilities on the Côte d'Azur with its colorful gozzo boats and the hectic life of a young city that has its center in the promenade des Anglais and in the flower market.

We will sail to Antibes, Cannes and Les Île de Lérins, a destination for the international jet set, the Rade d'Agay, Île d'Or, Saint Tropez with its fascinating gulf and the town that made the history of cinema and elite alternative tourism in the 60s, the natural park of Porquerolles and the islands of Hyères, small pieces of Corsica on the French Mediterranean coast.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

For me it was the first experience on a sailing boat, the travel companions were very nice!! For the first two days the sails were non-existent, and the following days about an hour a day the rest by motor!! Too bad, it would have been nicer to visit and reach the places for which I paid and that were planned (Antibe, Cannes, Nice et st Tropez... we have seen them from a very long time . In fact, two of the people wanted to interrupt the trip two days before because despite having discussed with the skipper that we all wanted to go to Cannes, he decided without consulting us to stop elsewhere. The good thing is that I don't get seasick!! I will sail again but only sail!

I will write that with a group of nice travel companions I accompanied a presumptuous skipper on a trip, almost exclusively by motor, between Sanremo and the Porquerolles, with stops chosen according to his tastes, without the slightest respect for the program or the requests of cruise passengers. 1/3 of the crew even disembarked before the end of the trip. I was about to do it, annoyed by this unusual behavior for trips of this type. I just want to thank my fellow travelers. The review also applies to my wife who wanted to have her first sailing experience and does not motorboat. Destination too far to reach by sail, so said the skipper.

The only real strength of this experience was the group: intelligent, pleasant people with whom it was a pleasure to share the holiday. I often go sailing cruises and therefore have different terms of comparison. Unfortunately this was the only unhappy experience. The skipper proved to be unhelpful with uncourteous manners, and did not involve the crew in the planning of the route or in the choice of destinations, but he knew how to show us the restaurants. The navigation was a disaster: the cruise was carried out by motor, while the sail was hoisted only to lighten the work of the engine. I had chosen and paid for a sailing cruise, not a motor holiday. In hindsight, I should have given more weight to the negative reviews I had read before leaving. I was not the only one to suffer the trip, two participants decided to disembark well in advance for these reasons. It's a real shame, because with a different management the experience could have been completely different .
