This experience, in a nutshell

This year you will be able to admire the Barcolana 56 from a different point of view: directly from a splendid and comfortable sailing boat from 1899, a schooner built entirely of wood.

We will accompany you to the starting line to watch the start of the race.

On board, we'll share stories and a bit of history of Adriatic seafaring, accompanied by an aperitif.

Afterwards, we will move to the finish line to find out who will be the winner and celebrate this great event together.

Disembarkation is scheduled at the end of the regatta, around 16.00, again from the Audace pier.

Embarkation and disembarkation will take place on the shores of Trieste, in the heart of the Barcolana... A unique experience!

NB: An aperitif will be offered on board (included in the fee)

Our itinerary

We will cast off from the beautiful daring pier where we will see all the preparation and adrenaline of all the other crew members.

The start is scheduled no later than 9.00 am so that we can be on the starting line and see who will be the first to start. It will be very exciting to observe all this directly in first person, from the sea on a beautiful vintage boat. There will be no shortage of stories of past experiences and the history of the ancient seafaring of the Adriatic.

We will be at the finish line to see who will be the winner of the Barcolana 56 regatta.

And then disembark from the daring pier and celebrate with everyone where it will be the fulcrum of the party

We remain available for any questions or clarifications, do not hesitate to contact us!

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Amazing sailing trip with Alberto, Francesca and Pascoale throughout the Eolian Islands! It was our very first - and unforgettable - experience! We were able to visit all islands we planned, with great food prepared by Francesca and great sailing from Alberto and Pascoale. We had also the opportunity to practise a little bit of sailing which was amazing for us! We will definitely repeat that!

Fantastic experience! Despite the almost non-existent wind, Alberto and Federica made us feel all the energy of the Barcolana! Thank you!

The dreaded bora was skilfully managed by the skipper, transformed into a diversion that enlivened, in every sense, the holiday. Skipper Alberto and Federica fantastic handyman, proved to be very nice and very careful in making pleasant and unforgettable days at sea. Recommended experience, to be repeated !!

Beautiful holiday, well organized. Alberto was very good both in making us know and appreciate the peculiarities of the Gulf of Trieste and in managing the boat in conditions of sustained wind, transmitting a continuous sense of security and demonstrating an enviable competence and mastery of the sailboat. My 17 year old daughter and I relaxed and enjoyed the holiday using and appreciating the onboard equipment (tender and hammock). A special thanks also to Federica for the valuable assistance provided to Alberto, for having pampered and spoiled us and also for the not negligible culinary skills demonstrated: unforgettable the fantastic meatballs. Goodbye to both.
