The exclusive summer sailing camp aimed at children who in recent years more than ever need to share and experience with their peers live and not online, all in absolute safety both as regards navigation, managed by expert instructors, that Covid-19.
The summer camp on a sailing boat perfectly combines the needs of children with those of their parents; the former are looking for fun and new discoveries and will be satisfied and fascinated in learning about a world made of sea, diving and new friends, as well as learning things as "adults" that many real adults do not know how to do; they feel great. Parents want to know their children are safe, happy and at the same time engaged in constructive activities .
The sailing boat makes this possible.
Sun, sea, diving, laughter and fun on a boat go hand in hand with respect for nature, sharing, teamwork, order and responsibility.
Many talk about the school of life, we don't know if they exaggerate or not but one thing is sure: kids don't just learn to go boating! They will manage their own spaces (not like at home :)), they will coordinate for the organization of all those tasks (really all ...) which they will then carry out in rotation.
It will be an experience that will enrich them and help them in interpersonal relationships and in character formation.
PROGRAM:
We come from almost twenty years of experience in training and management of educational cruises with children of all ages, also in collaboration with state schools.
The children will learn the rudiments of sailing and all those maneuvers necessary to manage what is a real houseboat: sailing lessons; basic notions of nautical charts , correspondence and orientation; use of the radio and on-board instruments; knots.
All in the magnificent setting offered by the Pontine islands: Ponza, Ventotene and Palmarola ; real paradises around the corner.
And we must not forget one of the most desired moments by the kids: the mid-cruise "social" dinner , a group pizza in Ventotene or Ponza, depending on the weather and availability.
They will also learn to collaborate and share the spaces and equipment of the boat, always attentive to safety and respect for others and will alternate in all on-board activities, whether they are educational or organizational / life on board.
A too detailed program is impossible, too many factors at play: the weather, the group and the alchemy that is created when a crew is formed, each time different. Let's not forget that the boys have been living for two and a half years of very particular and hard school life: physical and mental health in the first place!
