This experience, in a nutshell

We will take you to discover one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean, Corsica.

An island rich in history and charm, with coasts of all kinds, from the sheer cliffs of Cap Corse to the fine sand of Saleccia.

Sailing in the cetacean sanctuary we will enjoy long baths and wonderful walks, passing through small fishing villages and towns rich in life and local history.

We will sail in a flotilla with another sailboatsharing routes, anchorages and why not challenging each other in some friendly regattas. It will be an opportunity for the crews, if they wish, to socialize and make new friends!

Our base will be the beautiful Marina di San Vincenzo, easy to reach by car, and by train (the station is only 200 meters from the port) so it's an ideal starting point for our travels. The itineraries can satisfy both the most experienced and those approaching the world of sailing for the first time.

During the experience there will be the opportunity for everyone to learn and participate in the maneuvers. They will be days of relaxation, sport, nature and fun.

Our itinerary

Once the cabins have been assigned and the galley has been arranged, we will immediately set sail for Capraia sailing, having fun and why not, trying to catch a nice lunch!

Depending on the weather we will decide whether to stop on the way there or on the way back to better discover one of the most beautiful and wild islands of the Tuscan archipelago, we will anchor in breathtaking coves such as Cala Rossa, Cala del Ceppo and Mortola and many others. We will immerse ourselves in its unspoiled landscapes that make it a small trekking paradise, we will visit the port with the characteristic village with restaurants and shops of local products and the upper village with the castle and postcard views.

We will then cover the 15 miles that separate us from Corsica with our eyes wide open because we will pass right in the middle of the cetacean sanctuary and, if we are lucky, they will come to greet us. We'll explore Cap Corse, located in the far north of Corsica. Dropping anchor in the bays with fine sand and going down to walk on those coasts is a unique emotion and an opportunity to visit the wildest sites of the island, including remote villages and small fishing ports. The Finocchiarola reserve, Plage Santa Maria, the legendary Giraglia, Macinaggio and the northernmost village of Corsica Barcaggio. Skirting the "finger" on the west side we will stop at Centuri, famous for lobster fishing and immediately after at Anse d'aliso, a small and beautiful fjord.

Depending on the weather, we will decide whether to stop in Saint Florent, visit the city and its large gulf, from there begins the Agriates Desert, accessible only by boat, with its white beaches and crystal clear water, such as that of Saleccia or the Santu River. Or whether to continue to Ile Rousse or Calvì with its imposing castle overlooking the sea.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Our trip on Marco’s boat was the perfect combination of relaxation in the beautiful bays of Elba and excitement while sailing with the wind. The boat was well equipped with everything needed to cook and feel comfortable on board. Marco is highly skilled, well organized, and places great importance on safety and clear communication throughout the trip. We truly enjoyed the experience and can highly recommend sailing with him.

I was lucky enough to experience 3 days on a sailing boat with Xsail as a surprise birthday gift – a really wonderful idea! Marco, the captain of our boat, is a reliable and competent person: you immediately feel in good hands, he transmits confidence and knows perfectly what he is doing. It was a great experience, fun and at the same time relaxing, with the feeling of always being safe. A beautiful gift that I will remember for a long time! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the sea in a special way. 🌊✨
