This experience, in a nutshell

Meeting at the port of Cala de Medici the night before departure, briefing with the crew and dinner in one of the restaurants in the area.

The week will take place between the island of Capraia and the north of Corsica, where we will sail to discover its wildest beaches and seaside villages. We will see the most beautiful bays of Capraia, its perched village and marina, we will round Cap Corse and visit the white beaches of the Desert des Agriates with stops in the characteristic villages of this peninsula.

Sailing, crystal clear sea, white sand and fiery sunsets will be the setting for this experience in which you will be welcomed in a relaxed and familiar atmosphere.

Bianca and I will be on board, as co-skipper and cook.

During the week there will be an overnight stop in the port on the islands, taking the opportunity to refuel with water. For the rest we plan to spend the nights at anchor, but on request we can book other nights in port.

Our itinerary

Meeting at the Port of Marina di Cala de' Medici to get to know the rest of the crew, followed by a briefing on what we will do this week together with some necessary information for safety on board. Dinner in one of the restaurants in the area.

In the morning we will leave the port in the direction of the Island of Capraia which we will reach after about 4 hours of navigation. You will have the opportunity to dive into its clear waters but also to go ashore to visit its perched village.

The next day we will sail to Cap Corse, a peninsula in the north of Corsica characterized by pristine and wild bays, surrounded by a clear and crystalline sea.

In the following days we will visit the bays of this little-known and wonderfully wild corner: the seaside village of Centuri, the white beaches of the Agriates desert, the characteristic village of Saint Florent and its coves.

On Thursday we will head back to Capraia where we will spend the night.

On Friday afternoon we will return to the port and disembark the same evening or the next day by 9 am.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

-I spent a wonderful holiday with Paolo and Bianca. They are very kind, very nice, Bianca is a very good cook. They are very helpful . My first experience on a sailing boat was very pleasant. I saw beautiful places, coves that otherwise I could not have seen except by boat. I highly recommend a holiday with Paolo and Bianca

Delightful week of sailing with Paolo and Bianca around Elba and Capraia... I enjoyed the sincere Italian hospitality (and delicious food) on the well-equiped '[hidden]'. They really made an effort to accomodate for every guest's wishes and preferences. What a team... grazie mille!!!

Settimana stupenda. Bianca e Paolo sono stati due ospiti eccezionali, preparati, gentili, divertenti. Professionali ma che sanno farti sentire a casa. La cucina di Bianca è stata squisita e lei sempre pronta a riadattarla in caso di esigenze particolari. Paolo ci ha portati alla scoperta di calette nascoste in un mare splendido tra Elba e Capraia, pronto ad insegnare a chiunque volesse provare la vela e di grande compagnia tra giri all’avventura con il sup, karaoke e giochi sotto le stelle. La [hidden] è una super barca, non manca nulla, un bagno privato per cabina (rarità), dinette e pozzetto comodi e molto curati. Consiglio e straconsoglio questa esperienza con loro!
