This experience, in a nutshell

Get on board and enjoy this magnificent weekend that will take you to discover the Gulf of Poets, Porto Venere and the Cinque Terre

This weekend on a boat will take you on a journey of discovery, you will also be an active part of the crew, you will be able to practice at the helm and learn how to maneuver the sails, or if you are already practical, the instructor will guide you in perfecting your skills.

Living on board is not just sailing, we will make nice stops to visit the most evocative places on the Ligurian coast, with us life on board is relaxed and fun, you make new friends and together you collaborate in the management of the boat.

Our sailing style does not include standard trips, what we will do will be decided together on board based on the wind conditions and the wishes of the group, we can make long sails if the wind is favorable and the group wants to learn more, or choose to stop in the bay and visit the surroundings.

We are an amateur sports association, our aim is to make you discover the art of sailing, learn to sail while having fun, always respecting our sea.

The activities of our association are guided by the ethical values that are the basis of our daily actions: we sail according to the principles of responsible tourism, our main fuel is the wind and our energy is solar.

To embark with us it will be necessary to become a member of the association and present a medical certificate for non-competitive sporting activity.

On board we will separate waste collection and we will not use disposable tableware.

Our itinerary

Our weekend will be based on the discovery of the magnificent sea area of Porto Venere and the Gulf of Poets, if the sea and wind conditions allow it we will be able to go up the coast to the first villages of the Cinque Terre, if this is not possible, we will sail between Porto Venere, the island of Palmaria, Le Grazie, Lerici and Tellaro, discovering splendid ravines accessible only from the sea.

Being an association affiliated to UISP we can organize experiences only for members. For this reason, I will ask you to sign the application for admission and pay the annual membership fee of €15 which also includes sports insurance.

The itinerary is interesting and fascinating, the boat is not exactly 100% efficient due to some important deficiencies that penalized the week. Capable and competent skipper but not very empathetic. Excellent company, nice and cheerful. Overall sufficient judgment.

We have just concluded a wonderful week-long cruise with Captain Sandro, an experience that we will always carry in our hearts. Thanks to his expert guide we reached northern Corsica, visiting Capraia, Macinaggio and the charming village of Centuri: unforgettable baths, aperitifs and a sunset dinner of rare beauty, before returning to the Island of Elba due to the worsening weather conditions. What makes sailing with Sandro unique is not only the knowledge of the most authentic places, but above all his extraordinary experience. Always attentive to the weather forecast, he was able to make wise and safe decisions. Sandro in adverse weather conditions showed a cool head and competence by bringing us to safety at the port, avoiding risks for both us and the boat. With him, the sea is experienced in its beauty, but always in total safety. A true commander, in the truest sense of the word. Highly recommended for those who want an unforgettable cruise, between wonderful places and the certainty of being in expert hands.
