This experience, in a nutshell

A holiday of relaxation and pleasure to discover the main natural and architectural attractions of the Istrian coast and unusual and unusual bays, thanks to the excellent knowledge of the skipper's location. All aboard a sporty and comfortable sailing boat, to enjoy your holiday in complete safety.

The meeting for the whole crew is at 12.00 in Monfalcone, where after an initial briefing and having familiarized with the boat and the traveling companions we will all go together to make the weekly galley. Around 15.00 we leave the moorings and hoist the sails, crossing the enchanting gulf of Trieste we reach the bay on the Slovenian coast, where after a regenerating bath we admire the sunset toasting our holiday and our first night under the stars!

The awakening in the bay surrounded by crystal clear waters and pristine landscapes gives an emotion that remains impressed for a long time, we choose whether to continue enjoying it with a dip or a breakfast in the cockpit, before resuming the navigation that takes us to Umag , where we regulate entry into Croatia. We continue our itinerary towards Novigrad, an ancient fishing village and today a lively seaside resort that has managed to keep intact the characteristic historical center made of narrow streets, small shops and medieval fortifications that surround much of the city. For those who wish, there will be a way to get lost, only metaphorically, to discover this enchanting village and taste the local specialties in one of the many places that characterize it.

A day between dives, swims and carefree chat is the one that sees us sailing south on Wednesday between the small islands scattered on the route to Rovinj , where we arrive in the afternoon. From the sea in front of the glance on the town allows us to admire it in all its splendor, being able to appreciate from a truly privileged position the view of the baroque church of Santa Eufemia, located on the hill overlooking the city, the Venetian style of architecture and the characteristic houses on the sea. Always a point of reference on the Istrian coast, its uniqueness emerges thanks to the co-existence of a romantic atmosphere capable of postponing the past with refined and modern cultural and food and wine proposals ... we choose what characterizes our holiday most!

If Istria expresses the best of its cultural and architectural heritage in Rovinj, it is in the National Park of the Brijuni archipelago , our stop on Thursday, which reveals its natural wonder. At the center of legends that enhance its beauty and appearance in Eden, the disruptive and uncontaminated nature preserves a rich and rare variety of Mediterranean flora and animal species, indigenous and otherwise. Thanks to its privileged position and extraordinary beauty, it has been chosen over time by several characters who have contributed to leaving a mark of historical and cultural interest, which today we can explore with a walk, a comfortable train and renting bicycles!

With the astonishment still in our eyes, our navigation continues north, in an unprecedented and protected context such as the Lemme canal, which arose from the corrosive activity of the Pazincica, a small river now turned largely into a small gulf. Over 10 km long, surrounded by steep mountains rich in vegetation and brackish waters that characterize the development of plants and animal life, sailing in this channel surrounded by the silence and grandeur of nature is an experience to be savored. In the afternoon we continue to Porec , a town with a thousand-year history where it is possible to admire the Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO heritage site, and its golden mosaics or relax before being drawn into the lively nightlife!

Saturday after completing the exit formalities from Croatia we sail towards Piran , a seaside and cosmopolitan town, developed under the influence of nearby Venice, and today one of the most authentic and graceful centers of the Slovenian coast! We can spend the evening in the bay or in one of the many places that offer fresh local fish, stroll through the characteristic alleys and for the tireless end of the evening in one of the many places in nearby Portoroz !

Early Sunday we savor a coffee before heading back to our last swim and the inevitable greetings to the sea!

Maurizio and Ilaria are two professional, competent people and made us feel at ease on the boat and within the group; Maurizio has a contagious tranquility in competently managing any situation, Ilaria pampered us with lunches and dinners and an organization of the galley that allowed us to try many goodness! I love their lifestyle where, while following the established program, the rhythm and times are marked by the weather, by the safety on board, by the desire for that moment! Thank you very much for the beautiful experience and the many horizons lived and thanks to the group that gave an extra positive note to these days, see you soon

I traveled solo to sail the Istrian Peninsula with Maurizio and other crew. È stato perfetto! In short it was a fantastic trip. A highlight was Maurizio’s thorough knowledge of the places we visited, his boat and sailing. Despite being the only non-Italian speaking member of the crew, all made me feel welcome and included me in conversations and laughter. I look forward to traveling with Maurizio again. Perhaps I’ll also add to my own sailing credentials as Maurizio is an accomplished instructor.

There are no words to describe the beauty and harmony that have governed this holiday. Maurizio and Ilaria have been able to convey to the group security, tranquility and.. lots of healthy laughter. This holiday, despite some moments of rain and lowering of the temperature, exceeded my expectations, thanks to the attention of our Maurizio who was able to optimize the time available making it pleasant. We didn't miss anything. Relaxation, adventure, fun. Maurizio and Ilaria have always been very attentive and caring towards our needs, pampering us and allowing each of us to spend unforgettable moments. Their genuineness allowed us to feel immediately at ease with the rest of the group, with whom great harmony and pleasant harmony was created in a completely natural way. Maurizio skipper determined, calm, nice. Ilaria our sun of the day I vote only 5 stars because there are no more IN THE HEART

High expectations were met and even exceeded! Maurizio SUPERB, both as a person and as a captain! Experienced and very knowledgeable, he conveys confidence and is super engaging. Ilaria, her second, is a delightful person, reassuring, smiling and very helpful. Two special people, authentic and genuine, lovers of the sea and life on a boat, who manage to convey, without too many words, their passion for the sea, The boat is very nice, well maintained and they are also very careful to keep it tidy and clean. We visited wonderful places and I was lucky enough to share the experience with amazing people, who helped to make these days unforgettable! Thank you for the laughs and everything ! Fair winds and see you soon!
