Super apt format for those who want to party with the whole flotilla

The experience itself leaves many positive memories and an important human baggage. You get to know many people in a very short time, while you live in a bubble that amplifies and speeds up sociality and creates relationships that last even after the week of vacation. This was my second experience in the flotilla (the first with a different company) and I would like to confirm that even in this case I was very happy with the human bond I created with so many beautiful people. If you like to meet new people, be cheerful and not feel the need to take your cell phone for 1 week it is definitely the ideal vacation. However, there were some negative sides that for honesty it is necessary to list: - The program of the week is quite clear, what is not clear are the costs to be incurred (in cash) during the various days. In particular, I want to refer to the various dinners/aperitifs/taxi boats that we had to pay for on the spot without any notice before departure. When asked not to participate in these dinners and aperitifs, we were answered "eh but we have already booked for everyone". The program does not say that in 2 ports you have to pay for the taxi boat to move from your boat to the pier and to return. In the previous flotilla this service was managed by skippers who in turn used the various tenders of the boats (which are paid in the fee) to bring the participants ashore and bring them back on board. The feeling is that part of the holiday is also focused on "turning the local economy". - For organizational reasons, refueling was not done on the return to port and we were made to pay for fuel based on the hours of operation of the engines, thus assuming an average consumption value. This does not mean that there has been dishonesty, but there has certainly been a lack of transparency. It's not a cheap vacation so it would be nice to be transparent about everything. - The program includes various parties in which the boats are "packaged", i.e. joined together so that all participants can move between the various boats and socialize with each other. In this flotilla only 1 package was made on the penultimate evening. - If you are expecting a holiday where you also have the opportunity to learn something about sailing, the sea and how to be on a boat, I think you will be disappointed. We have never opened the sails, not even once. Nothing was explained to us about the names of the sails, the gaits, the maneuvers and in general nothing technical that for those who are at their first experiences on a boat can certainly be very interesting and can bring you closer to the world of sailing. - Not all boats were 100% efficient in terms of on-board services such as bluetooth for music, refrigerators etc and this led to some inconvenience. To conclude, a good experience but organization to be reviewed.

Having already had other experiences in the flotilla, in this one I found very little organization, too many things left to chance (starting, in my opinion, from skipper and coskipper not sufficiently prepared - indeed the coskipper seemed to be on vacation - for free) and then, apart from the sea conditions, the programs were not like those described (including packages). I definitely wouldn't stay here again, not to the Aeolian Islands at least.

I summarize: Very beautiful places, the organization and the mood reflect the festive description of the holiday. Too bad we made only one package with all the boats, but there are several moments to socialize. EXPENSES: very bad, no transparency on what was paid, only the shopping receipt was presented at the beginning for the rest everything on trust: moorings, taxi boats, dinners / aperitifs. SKIPPER AND CO SKIPPER: I felt good socializing with them, but one above all showed little desire to do and almost became a vacationer (to the avail). BARCA: bad, the bluetooth to connect the mobile phones did not work. The fridge was intermittent and we couldn't use the tender for 2-3 days as it had a damaged engine. In addition, too many people for the size of the boat: there were 13 of us in total. The cabins with the bunk bed and the sailor's cabin are niches. I recommend taking the sup, indeed 2 sup for each boat would be the top.
