The sailing holiday was a very pleasant experience thanks to the good experience of the captain Federico who managed the boat and the group very well. Asinara is a protected nature park away from the circuits of mass tourism. An excellent choice for those who want to get out of the most crowded beaches especially in August. But I must that I would have expected to find the white sandy beaches of Sardinia. None of this! Apart from a beautiful cove, all the rest of the beaches are covered with algae because in this way you want to preserve the natural integrity of the protected park of Asinara. The certainly is always the clean one of Sardinia!

I was embarked with Michela and I think exactly the opposite. It is always subjective a review based on holiday expectations. Since it is holiday and not sailing school I consider Federico not empathetic in spirit, no music, no tender available for beaches etc (except effort to have it 1 day), no indications on what to see or how to organize on land eg. Carloforte where for bad weather stopped 2 days etc. Definitely professional, but for my 5 experience with Sailsquare definitely the most disappointing. If you want fun and dynamic holiday choose something else. On professionalism, competence and comfort boat nothing to say, but personally I intended to sign up for a cruise and such was not, apart from lovely crew ... fortunately!

Federico is perhaps the best Captain I've sailed with. The week was not the best for the weather conditions but we never risked finding ourselves in difficulty thanks to his preparation and attention. His calm and ironic sympathy when he teaches are truly unique. I highly recommend the experience to those who really love sailing.

The captain of this experience was Guido. A young guy, but with a phenomenal experience and ability to manage the group and the unexpected. The weather was not very favorable, but the company made it become a unique experience. Thanks to Guido, Biagio, Renato, Paolo, Elena, Olga and ,Tiziana.

For our first cruise experience, we chose to go with you. Marla, Léonie and I booked our participations without knowing or knowing the other participants. Federico is a very competent professional skipper; it distributes tasks fairly to the crew without ever losing sight of the safety of people. In a week we stopped at several beaches, one more beautiful than the other! For those who enjoy learning the basics of sailing from a Federal Instructor, this is the right holiday. Frederico is professional but does not share this knowledge with the entire crew. For a young man all the maneuvers are explained personally but for single women some! Frederico speaks French but if he is asked questions, so if you do not speak Italian, do not tell you how to learn the sailboat. We were able to make no manoeuvres unless we imposed ourselves firmly. When we ask him questions we frankly have the impression that it really annoys him. For us the stops were too long, we would have liked to do more sailing. The two aft cabins were very poorly ventilated when sleeping in port. It was terribly hot. Attention the first and last night this fact at the port of Calgliari. The south coast of Sardinia is beautiful, and the rest of the crew super nice, which allowed us to have a good week.

Fantastic holiday on the French Riviera. First time with Sailsquare I found myself very well, due to the fact that the skipper was part of the Veladoc team of SanRemo. We had Enrico instead of Federico. Wonderful person who made us drive the boat, very caring and nice. Good fork! Decisions always taken together in complete freedom. Fantastic team. Professional skipper technically but really not very empathetic and not very sociable. Sometimes rude in ways. It was not easy to agree with him on what to do and where to disembark so much so that for 3 days you never got off the boat despite being asked several times. The tender has not only never been used as "uncomfortable to disembark us all", but it has never been inflated or put a water. Few stops for the bath and always very far from the shore. Ours was an unlucky week because unfortunately we had an engine problem that forced us to the ground for a few days. Skipper Guido was committed to solving the problem and was always professional, transparent and cooperative. When we finally left it was all very nice and we spent fun moments and sailed in harmony. Even in navigation Guido was very good and always available. Holiday to be repeated definitely.

Our skipper was Guido who accompanied us on a nice ride between Elba, Corsica and Capraia. Although we did not know the other members of the crew, we immediately found ourselves in full harmony and this cooperation allowed us to overcome even some unexpected and difficulties that arose during the week (limited space on board for 9 people, some problems of the boat a little dated, long wait to moor in Capraia). For me it was a wonderful experience and I keep an unforgettable memory of it.

The actual skipper was not Federico but another member of Veladoc named Gianfranco competent as skipper but not in my opinion suitable for the management of tourists / crew not experts and / or trained in sailing on a sailboat as he gave orders with inappropriate tones taking into account that there was no initial briefing explaining how the cruise was carried out.
