Brief description of the holiday
Hello crew, impossible to stay at home the week of August, so here is a sailing holiday not to be missed
We embark from Livorno on Wednesday in the late afternoon (boarding is from 6 to 8 on Thursday morning), we arrange the luggage, we do the galley and an aperitif on board to get to know each other better.
Then we go to dinner in Venice, a neighborhood in the historic center of Livorno.
We set sail on Thursday morning heading to the island of Elba where we will arrive in the afternoon, or if you prefer we can sail to the Gulf of Baratti, take a bath with an aperitif at sunset, and then spend the night there.
On Sunday morning we will put the bow on the Island of Elba where we will visit some beautiful bays , swimming will be a pleasure.
Sunday morning we will resume navigation to Livorno where we will arrive in the late afternoon.
I would say that swimming and diving competitions in the blue sea will not be lacking, laughter guaranteed ... so what are you waiting for, come on ??? :-)
Dehler 39 Cws
My boat is a Dehler 39 cws designed by the Dutch studio Van de Stadt in 1991, is designed for a fast cruise, without losing sight of the safety and ease of operation. For this reason all the maneuvers are sent back to the cockpit which is equipped with an electric winch, thus allowing navigation even with reduced crew. it is 12.15 m long and a maximum beam width of 3.80 m, the sailing rig consists of a full batten main sail, self-tacking jib, an undead genoa and a spinnaker. Internally it has two double cabins aft, and a cabin in the bow, two are the bathrooms, one in the bow adjacent to the master cabin and the other near the aft cabins, both equipped with hot water. Large dinette and walled kitchen with oven and fridge. Heating in all cabins that allows you to experience the boat even in winter. I shot really long before I found it, I looked for it in Sardinia, in Barcelona, in Malta and then found it in Croatia 3 years ago. With her I sailed along the Croatian coasts, toured Italy passing through the Otranto canal, the Gulf of Taranto, the Strait of Messina, Stromboli and Panarea, Agropoli Ischia and Capri, the Pontine archipelago. Now we stopped in Livorno, our home. The Tuscan archipelago, and Corsica is where we spend our summers. The most frequent destinations are Capraia, the island of Elba and Capo Corso.
