Francesco is an experienced skipper and we really appreciated that he took care of both cooking and washing the dishes after each meal. However, as far as the itinerary of the South of Sardinia and in particular the bays where we stopped is concerned, we were disappointed compared to other boat holidays. We expected more coves and bays that could only be reached by sea, while we were often moored offshore in front of beaches that were nothing special. Although we had immediately pointed out to Francesco that we expected something different, the week went all like this. Sorry to say that it doesn't seem to have been worth it, especially because of the long navigation times necessary for this itinerary.

If you are looking for a sailing holiday where the sea decides, [hidden] is the right boat! Mine has been a week of splendid sailing, sometimes we literally slipped on the water, other times we went upwind, leaning over the sea feeling all the force of the wind! Waking up in the roadstead with the calm sea, greeting the day with postcard sunsets and looking at the stars lulled by the waves is the best for me! Thanks to Gianluca and Filippo for their expertise, for making us experience the sea to the fullest and for using the engine as little as possible. A warm greeting to my travel companions!

She had never been on a sailboat and now I wonder why she waited so long. This holiday has given me something that goes far beyond the places visited. It taught me a different way of traveling: following the wind, adjusting the sails, relying on the course and accepting that it is the sea, sometimes, that dictates the times. Night sails and those at dawn will remain among the best memories. Sailing with only the sound of the hull caressing the water, under a sky full of shooting stars and with the moon to keep you company, is an emotion difficult to describe. In those moments, time seems to stand still and you understand how precious slowness can be. I loved feeling at the mercy of the wind, letting it fill the sails and guide us. I rediscovered places that I already knew, but observed from the sea they take on a completely different perspective, even more authentic and surprising. Life on board is essential: few spaces, few objects, but everything you really need. You live following the rhythm of the sun, the wind and the sea, far from the noise and rush of the mainland. I return home with salt on my skin, a lighter heart and the certainty of wanting to cast off again as soon as possible. Because sailing is not just a way of traveling: it is a way of looking at the world.
