This experience, in a nutshell

Here we are to offer you another unmissable opportunity to come and discover how magical the sea is out of season :)

For the long weekend of May 1st, we offer you three days by boat between Santa Marinella and Santa Severa on our boat.

The idea is to take it easy and enjoy the sea at a time of the year when it is still quiet, with beautiful light and little confusion, and hope to meet our cetacean friends.

The journey begins on Friday 1 May with departure from Fiumara at 9 am, accommodation on board and navigation north. During the journey, an expert guide will introduce participants to the world of cetaceans and responsible sighting practices. If the weather permits, the night will be spent in the roadstead with dinner under the stars.

Saturday will be dedicated to learning sailing: the basics such as on-board nomenclature, wind direction and sail adjustment will be studied. After lunch at anchor with the possibility of swimming, the evening will continue in the port of Santa Marinella, with free time for walks or relaxation.

On Sunday we will resume navigation with practical exercises, and then return to Fiumara in the late afternoon or evening.

Our itinerary

FIRST DAY Departure on Friday morning at 9 am from Fiumara, we arrange things on board and immediately start sailing north. During the navigation, Arianna, a certified whale watching guide, will introduce us to the fascinating world of cetaceans in the Mediterranean, sharing practices and tips for sighting and safeguarding. If the weather conditions permit, we will spend the first night in the roadstead, enjoying a dinner together under the stars.

SECOND DAY Saturday will be dedicated to sailing lessons. We will learn the nomenclature of the board, to recognize the direction of the wind, to adjust the sails accordingly and the various gaits. Lunch at anchor for swimming and diving. In the evening, however, we will enter the port of Santa Marinella, nestled in the heart of the picturesque seaside village to allow those who want to take a walk, have an aperitif or simply change the atmosphere for a few hours.

THIRD DAY On Sunday we will leave calmly, practicing turns and adjustments, and then return to Fiumara in the late afternoon / evening.
