Distances and approximate times: Paris about 460-480 km, 4h30-5h; Bordeaux about 170-200 km, 2h-2h30; Nantes about 140-160 km, 1h30-2h; Poitiers about 120 km, 1h15-1h30. The main road accesses lead to public parking near the center and the ports; for longer journeys it is possible to use the service areas along the A10.

Train services: Intercités and TER Nouvelle-Aquitaine with direct and regional connections; some seasonal or long-distance routes may be served by TGV/Intercités trains to or from Poitiers or Saintes. Approximate times: Paris Montparnasse → La Rochelle about 2h45-3h; Bordeaux → La Rochelle about 2h; Nantes → La Rochelle about 1h30-2h with possible changes; Poitiers → La Rochelle about 1h-1h15. From the station it is possible to continue by urban transport, taxi or on foot to the center and the port.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a bunk cabin with another traveler (not necessarily of the same gender). Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

The provisions will be purchased jointly by the skipper and the participants.

This experience is on a half-board basis. The on-board staff takes care of the preparation of breakfasts and lunches consumed on the boat. For dinners, all guests will participate in their preparation, transforming moments in the kitchen into a fun and convivial occasion.
