This experience, in a nutshell

Join a unique journey through the wonderful Aeolian Islands: a week of sea, wind, sun and authentic Sicilian charm. On board a 15-meter sailboat, equipped with 4 comfortable cabins and 4 private bathrooms, you will find your floating home for the whole week, for an experience of freedom and discovery, suspended between sky and sea in the heart of the Mediterranean.

The meeting is scheduled for Saturday at 3:30 pm at the Marina di Capo d'Orlando to make the galley together and start taking the rhythms of life on board, before setting sail for the islands. Setting sail from the port, the route leads beyond the beaten paths, towards the most authentic soul of the archipelago: crystal clear waters, quiet bays and villages that preserve the true Mediterranean atmosphere.

Navigation is entrusted to one of our experienced skippers, a profound connoisseur of the Aeolian Islands: a safe and competent guide, who allows you to experience the sea with serenity even for those who have no sailing experience. The days go by slowly and lightly: you sail between the islands, dive into sheltered bays, snorkel, paddleboard or relax in the sun on deck.
Lunch is enjoyed on board, in a convivial and informal atmosphere, while in the evening it invites you to go ashore — to stroll through the streets of the villages, dine in local restaurants, sip an aperitif by the sea or simply let yourself be enveloped by the magic of the Aeolian Islands.

The itinerary is flexible and follows the rhythm of the wind and nature. Life on board is shared, a small world in which every gesture — cooking together, collaborating, keeping the boat welcoming — becomes part of the beauty of the journey.

Ready to set sail? Your adventure begins here.
If you want a week to slow down, experience the sea up close and discover the Aeolian Islands in an authentic way, this experience is for you. Discover the day by day itinerary and get on board!

NB: for the departure of 26/09 the last 3 seats are available: 2 seats in a double cabin, still free, and 1 female seat, with accommodation in a cabin shared with another female participant.

Leg 1

Saturday - Meeting

The meeting is scheduled at the Marina di Capo d'Orlando around 3:30 pm. Together with the skipper and travel companions, the galley is provided and, once everything is settled on the boat, the holiday can officially begin.

Leg 2

Panarea, boutique e geyser

Discovering Panarea, by sea and by land, is an unforgettable experience. Although it does not have a marina, the island offers numerous suggestive mooring spots and a well-organized buoy field. You can dive in the crystal clear and sandy waters of Baia Milazzese, Cala Zimmari, Basiluzzo or Cala Junco, and snorkel among the underwater geysers of Lisca Nera and Lisca Bianca. On land, the village of San Pietro invites you to stroll through elegant boutiques and corners full of charm. At nightfall, Panarea comes alive: cocktails at the Bridge or the famous Raya, or a simple granita on a terrace overlooking Dattilo. A dinner on one of the island's panoramic terraces, enjoying fresh fish under the stars, leaves magnificent memories.

Leg 3

Stromboli and Sciara del Fuoco

We head for Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, an island that embodies the power of nature. During the day you can relax on the black sand beaches of Forgia Vecchia or San Lorenzo, or dive into the deep, cobalt blue waters around Strombolicchio. At nightfall you can witness the extraordinary spectacle of the Sciara del Fuoco.

You can admire it by taking part in a guided excursion that climbs along the sides of the volcano, or from the sea with a dinghy ride organized by local operators (activities not included in the package) to observe the eruptions up close. In the evening, for safety reasons, we take a buoy in the bay of San Vincenzo to go ashore. Here the Bar Ingrid is an unmissable stop: perfect for a Neapolitan pizza and, in the morning, for one of the best granitas with brioche in the Aeolian Islands.

Leg 4

Salina: charme e granita

Salina, with its picturesque marina, is a peaceful retreat that encompasses all the grace of the Aeolian Islands. Due to its central location in the archipelago, it is often a mid- or weekend stopover, a pleasant break between adventure and relaxation. The splendid bay of Pollara, set in the crater of an ancient volcano, offers unforgettable views between high cliffs and transparent sea. In Salina you can moor in the port and go ashore to walk through the colorful streets of Santa Marina di Salina and reach Lingua to taste the famous pane cunzato and the legendary granita of Alfredo. Alternatively, you can stay at anchor in front of Lingua and reach the shore by tender For wine lovers, a stop at the Hauner winery is an exceptional stop to taste excellent Aeolian wines with a view of the vineyards and the sea.

Leg 5

Lipari

Lipari, the largest and liveliest of the islands, combines energy, history and natural beauty.

Its coast is a spectacle of colors: from the intense blue of Canneto to the turquoise of Valle Muria, up to the majestic Faraglioni. It is usually visited in the middle of the week, as it is the ideal stop for the supply of water, electricity or to replenish the galley with fresh fish and local specialties. A night in port guarantees comfort on board and a free evening without having to respect return times. Once moored, the island invites you to explore its most authentic views: the promenade of Marina Corta and Marina Lunga, the historic center and the local shops. The evening offers endless possibilities: an aperitif or a panoramic dinner in the hills overlooking Vulcano, or a livelier atmosphere in the clubs of Marina Corta. For those who want to continue, the famous Tourmaline nightclub promises an unforgettable Aeolian night.

Leg 6

Filicudi

Filicudi encapsulates the bohemian soul of the Aeolian Islands: wild, elegant and authentic.

We sail towards La Canna, an imposing seventy-meter-high basalt stack that emerges from the sea like a natural sculpture, the perfect place for a scenic bath.

The transparent seabed of Capo Graziano also offers a paradise for those who love snorkeling and relaxation. At anchor or buoy in front of the village of Pecorini a Mare you go ashore, where Filicudi shows its most authentic simplicity: you can walk barefoot, relax on colorful carpets and dine outdoors in an olive grove with a view of Alicudi and La Canna that are tinged with gold at sunset. Alternatively, a fish dinner at the Sirena or, for sushi lovers, a gourmet experience at Filicrudi, where the flavors of the Mediterranean meet those of the Far East.

Leg 7

Volcano

Vulcano, with its spectacular cliffs and contrasts between land and sea, reveals all its beauty from the sea. The coast offers wonderful views: from the white lighthouse of Gelso where the bright waters, where turquoise and emerald merge with the horizon. Since it is not always possible to visit all six islands in a single week, the choices vary depending on the weather and the pace of sailing. Vulcano is often admired from the sea, as a scenic stop, and offers peaceful anchorages in Baia Levante and Baia Ponente, a perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.

Leg 8

Saturday - Check-out and hugs

The return to Capo d'Orlando is scheduled for Friday afternoon by 5:30 pm, leaving one last evening to share the memories of an unforgettable journey under the stars.

Disembarkation takes place on Saturday morning by 8:30 am. Unfortunately, our time together comes to an end this time, but see you soon for new adventures!

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

It was really a wonderful experience, one of those holidays that I will remember with a smile. Carlo was exceptional; In addition to being very knowledgeable and helpful, he took us to discover wonderful places that made the trip even more special. His recommendations on restaurants and places to try once you get on the ground were also always spot on! Another strong point was certainly the company: a nice group was immediately created, pleasant and above all very funny. The boat was comfortable and perfect for enjoying both sailing and relaxing moments. I left for this trip with a small desire: to be able to sleep outside at least one night, under the stars, lulled by the sea. In the end I succeeded and it was probably the added value of this holiday. Between the sea, incredible places, laughter, great food and new people, it was an experience that I would do again without thinking twice. A holiday that I absolutely recommend to those who want to experience the sea in a different, more authentic and definitely unforgettable way.
