This experience, in a nutshell

It will be a week of relaxation, well-being, taste and fun.

Pampered by Giacomo (at the helm) and Laura (at the stove) you will spend 7 days immersed in the sea and nature of the Aeolian Islands, discovering this mythical volcanic archipelago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, which has two islands with as many active volcanoes: Stromboli and Vulcano.

Between a swim, a sunbath and a bit of navigation, you reach the roadstead to taste Laura's dishes:

An authentic dive into the flavors and aromas of the Aeolian and Sicilian regions.

Another stretch of navigation and you reach another island for the evening aperitif,

ready to go ashore to discover the beauties of the new island.

The cruise is designed as a relaxing holiday, suitable for all ages, done in extreme safety.

Every evening you go ashore and, generally, there are no very long stretches of navigation.

No previous nautical experience is necessary.

As for the food, once you have purchased the experience, we will send you the reference menu so that you can report any intolerances, tastes and eating habits.

To date, Laura has managed to please all our guests, as you can see from the reviews.

NB: Minimum cabin reservation is required. Those traveling alone can request the price for the double cabin for single use by clicking on the "contact the organizer" button

Aeolian Islands: wellness, taste, fun with fabulous cook on board

It was my first experience of a sailing holiday and inexperience played a fundamental role unfortunately. In fact, I chose a lot by feeling, especially looking at the itineraries and letting myself be conditioned by the beauty of the places, I gave little importance to the choice of the boat which is fundamental. [hidden], is a sailboat with all the comforts but unfortunately it has little outdoor space and in 6 guests plus 2 of the crew we could only sit or share a small mattress. The other available outdoor seat was occupied by the tender which was used only to go shopping in Lipari. Another thing that must be considered is the speed of the boat, going at 5 knots per hour we did 3 to 5 hours of navigation a day, very often taking the first swim not before 12, which x a boat holiday is really absurd. The inexperience also played on the price: the cost of the departure holiday is good but does not include anything, the price of the galley is roughly defined on paper between 200 and 300 per guest but in this case we went over the top: between food, marine (even 200 euros x a night), fuel and water I spent 400 euros individually. As for the itinerary I was lucky because it was 1 week of excellent sun and calm sea and I was able to visit all the islands except for a few and filicudi. Wonderful places, beautiful sea but too touristy stops. I thought that going by boat I would see unusual places, accessible only from the sea, with little confusion, instead we often attacked in crowded places and very far from the shore which was like always taking a swim in the high seas. The few times we ventured, we risked drowning or being run over towards the shore because the tender was never used by the skipper. As for the skipperGiacomo and his wife Laura I can say that they are very good hosts, kind and helpful but I don't think they are too experienced and therefore limit themselves to a simple itinerary. Laura is an excellent cook. My luck in addition to the good weather were also the travel companions with whom I bonded immediately even though I did not know them and we spent days full of laughter and fun. In conclusion, it was a good experience for me that I will certainly do again but controlling every single aspect well.

Few comforts, little or no collaboration from the skipper and his partner. The Aeolian Islands are beautiful, beautiful places but we only saw the classic tourist places even if we sailed by boat. Tentino never used except once because they had to shop in Panarea (and we did it because we couldn't wait to go ashore). We moored hundreds of meters from the beach and were asked to swim in the open sea near the boat. The tender comfortably occupied the two seats that could be reserved for guests to sunbathe. While the other boats They kept tied up behind and in the sea, ours was a non-paying guest. Nothing against the skipper and his partner, but considering the cost and expenses, much more was expected. It was almost always necessary to ration the water on board to wash oneself, the current. Sometimes we had the feeling that we were almost annoyed by the requests to get closer to the shore, to make stops to get wet, to perhaps look for alternative routes and stops in areas not trafficked by the usual commercial tourism. In short, we expected more quality than there was in the management of a week. Positive aspect: the fellow adventurers. A beautiful friendship was born, we made a group. Much more is expected from a sailboat. From a skipper you can expect stories perhaps even of history, of the tradition of the places. We used mobile phones to collect information. I repeat: sometimes we had the impression that we were almost annoying. And for what I paid, very high quality/price ratio. I'm sorry to have to review people negatively but on vacation you go there to have fun, to get to know new places, to have new experiences. But to a guest who asks you can you get closer to the shore, you can't answer "if I get the fine, you pay it". There is the tender, small and not in perfect condition, which you have to keep overboard and use. We always swam offshore, swimming to the beaches between the boats... A skipper is in charge of his crew and must pamper his guests, not abandon them to themselves. We had a group with two great couples. Fortunately, the days flew by like this. Otherwise they would have been nightmarish holidays on a sailboat with a 5-knot engine...

No relation to what is sold, no organization and above all they don't speak English but just Italian so when you don't speak Italian you are completely ignored and you are not asked for your opinion on anything Nevertheless, the other two couples spoke English and therefore gave us a great time, we thank them very much - without them the week would have been atrocious As far as the sailboat with or without wind is concerned, we stayed with the engine all week, whereas the principle of the sailboat is to sail As far as security is concerned, it's the same, don't count on it.... In other words, you finance their annual fees and their holidays because they don't deprive themselves of anything, it's the travelers who pay who adapt to their desires
