This experience, in a nutshell

The first island we will touch is Aegina: welcoming, lively, you can breathe the typical atmosphere of Greek villages. Interesting is the visit to the temple of Apollo and the walls of an ancient prehistoric settlement from where you can enjoy a wonderful view.

The island ofPoros, close as it is to the coast of the Peloponnese, resembles a quiet, pleasant lake resort. Many beautiful bays surround it.

Hidhra, a true pearl of the Saronic Gulf, stands out from the other islands for the absence of motor vehicles and for the alleys paved with marble cobblestones. The coves are splendid, the marina is picturesque.

From there we will move to the other side of the gulf to moor in the large bay of Sounio surmounted by the splendid, magical temple of Apollo. It will be fantastic to see the sunset from the boat. The journey will continue along the gulf to Athens.

Our itinerary

Leaving the port of Athens and its wonderful old town, we'll spend the week discovering the delightful islands of the Saronic Gulf and Sounion, the beautiful bay surmounted by the temple of Apollo. The first island we will touch is Aegina: welcoming, lively, you can breathe the typical atmosphere of Greek villages. The island ofPoros, close as it is to the coast of the Peloponnese, resembles a quiet, pleasant lake resort. Hidhra, a true pearl of the Saronic Gulf, stands out from the other islands for the absence of motor vehicles. The coves are splendid, the marina is picturesque. From there we will move to the other side of the gulf to moor in the large bay of Sounio:a visit to the temple is suggestive, the sunset at anchor in the bay surmounted by the splendid temple of Apollo is fantastic.

The common fund will be created at the time of boarding. The fuel charge will be calculated on the basis of the cost of 5 litres of diesel for each hour of motor navigation carried out. Obviously we will try to sail as much as possible under sail!

Riccardo and "[hidden]" are a lord and a lady of the seas. Many years of experience and many miles have created a symbiosis. Boat well equipped with a complete set of sails and, when there are competent guests, available to use them. 3 cabins and two bathrooms, are more than enough, the comfort of modern boats is not to be pargoned but here you sail and explore every bay, and that type of cockpit is more than comfortable. Nice companions and open to new friendships. Coskipper of the highest level!! Marinella ..... and we are all covered and aligned. Greece never disappoints even in mid-August.

Sailing from the magnificent Peloponnese to beautiful Zakynthos and Kefalonia

More than a sailing holiday we experienced a week (minus one day as we got off earlier) of continuous transfers, from 6 to 14 hours a day, sailing only the first two days, then due to jib problems only with the engine. Riccardo has to approach Catania for the winter storage of the boat and by selling the seats he has decided to earn money and get paid for the expenses. Old and uncomfortable boat (cockpit without cushions and also without supports for cell phones or glasses). Skipper's photo needs to be updated. Avoid.

Riccardo is a good person but the boat was not prepared to welcome guests, particularly in terms of cleanliness and order. Some episodes, which by an expert person should and could have been predicted and dealt with calmly, generated unnecessary anxiety (lack of fuel in the tender, staysail rigged at the last minute in critical circumstances, disorderly mooring and unmooring maneuvers, instructions to the crew not given sufficiently in advance and clarity, etc.). A general perception of approximation has generated a feeling of insecurity and discomfort which has unfortunately negatively affected the serenity and enjoyment of the holiday.
