This experience, in a nutshell

We will make the Atlantic crossing from Lanzarote to the island of Martinique on our catamaran, sailing alongside another fantastic new catamaran model, which offers all the comforts needed for a voyage of this kind.

Upon arrival in the Caribbean, we will spend a few days on the island of Martinique and stop at some of its wonderful white sandy beaches, such as Playa Salinas, one of the most beautiful. We will conclude our Atlantic crossing in the bay of Le Marin.

Martinique is famous for its sugar cane plantations and rum production, so we will take the opportunity to honour the Pirates of the Caribbean and taste their fine products. Particularly famous is Rhum Clement, one of the best we can taste. It will also be a good opportunity to lose ourselves on its beaches and climb to the top of Mount Pelee, where we will arrive through countless sugar cane plantations and incredible landscapes.

From Martinique, we can take a flight back to Europe. It is an island in the French Antilles, so it is part of Europe and no visa or passport is required to enter or leave the island. For this reason, it is very well connected and offers many direct flights to France and other parts of Europe.

This will be our eighth Atlantic crossing. We will enjoy magnificent fishing and whale watching. On this adventure, we will sail with the help of the trade winds to enjoy an epic journey.

The daily schedule during the crossing will include 4-hour watches, which consist of being in command of the boat and paying attention to foreign objects or changes in weather, wind strength or direction. Preliminary training will be provided on how to behave on board, as well as the need to notify the captain in order to make decisions about changes or adverse weather conditions.
You will also help out in the kitchen and take turns: everyone will have to cook and take turns cleaning the kitchen.
During our free time, we will go fishing. Fishing equipment is included, but bait is not. Everyone can bring their own; the most suitable and successful baits are usually plastic squid, in different sizes and colours.
Reading, as well as recording videos for your social networks or as souvenirs, are other good activities on board. We have a Samsung Smart TV, so you can watch films or series. We recommend bringing a hard drive with films or series to connect to the TV.
