Give this experience a try!

This experience, in a nutshell

We have 16 years of experience in organising sailing holidays in Greece and Caribbean, having thousands of happy customers on board our boats from all over the world.  Last year we were appreciated by the Guardian in 10 best sailing holidays in Europe.

Greece is our second home and we have prepared well-proven routes and attractions arranged with locals and a variety of their services. The sailing daily distances depend on our guests mood - we are flexible in adjusting to their needs. Each night we are showing our guests well selected and our favorite Tavernas with absolutely amazing local food and wine.

Round cruises from Naxos are definitely our favourites! Starting and ending in Naxos - in the heart of Cyclades, enables us to explore amazing Cyclades from the first moment of the sailing holiday! Small Cyclades are the pearl of this area. We visit stunning Cycladic islands offering beautiful desert bays with crystal clear water perfect for swimming/snorkelling (colorful fish, caves and even the IIWW plane wreck), characteristic local villages, yet less known and far less touristy. On the way Iraklia (which has an amazing local charm and easy vibe), Kufonissi (with its Caribbean-like blue water), Schinoussa (truly local and greek small village) and beautiful Amorgos - with a breathtaking monastery carved in the rock (where the monks are waiting for you to climb the stairs with delicious psimeni raki and loukoumi), beautiful beach and swimming spot famous from the Le grand Bleu film and typical Cycladic Chora, a town in the mountains. If guests are up for more sailing miles, we may visit Ios and Folegandros offering one of the most scenic old towns (Choras) in Cyclades. On the way back Paros with its quieter sister Antiparos where our guests have a chance to visit and feel the real Greece with its local atmosphere.

During all our trips each day we stop for swimming in beautiful bays - some of them completely wild, others with one small taverna, serving fresh fish and seafood (often taken out of the water before our eyes). For our guests we offer a possibility of jogging/yoga in the morning, exploring bays on paddle boards or kayaks and organic food on board.

You can expect delicious, healthy, fresh and truly local meals (often said by the guests to be the best Taverna from the whole trip). we buy fresh products from local markets, our friend's gardens and all the rest is homemade (boat made to be precise) :) Our feta is made by Giota'a mum, olive oil comes from Panagiotis tree's and lemons and figs we pick up by ourselves.

We are both well-skilled sailors so taking part in sailing maneuvers is optional for those who would like to learn and spend their holidays in an active way. We teach sailing basics, safety on board, knots, steering, mooring ect. No sailing experience is needed. Those who just wish to sunbathe and relax on deck are free to do so.
Also we help with all the logistics - we can organize transport from the airport directly to the boat.

Leg 1

SATURDAY

Kalimera! Welcome on board! We meet at 18:00 on the boat, have the first toast and meet your fellow companions or enjoy company of your friends or family :) time to make yourself comfortable in your cabins, rest after travelling or go for a beautiful sunset next to ancient ruins and in the evening we go together to our favourite taverna (run by mother and 2 sons) where all the veggies come from their garden, fish from local fisherman and they make their own olive oil. The food is amazing! After dinner you can explore amazing Chora by night (have a drink with a beautiful view) or relax on the boat. easy and smooth beginning of your adventure :)

SATURDAY

Leg 2

SUNDAY

After a delicious and healthy breakfast made by Aga, we set sails towards adventure! We sail for about 2 hours (time for safety briefing, chance to learn sailing basics like knots, how to put up sails ect and for those who are up for it chance to immediately take the helm!) :) relaxing and sunbathing for others. We arrive in a beautiful bay with crystal clear blue water and anchor there for a while. Swimming, snorkeling, exploring the bay by paddle board or kayaks, reading books ect. We have lunch on the anchor and set sail again for the next 2-3 hours arriving on another island before sunset. Some can go exploring the island, others have another swim or an aperitivo before going to a local taverna to try the island specialties in the very typical Greek small village.

SUNDAY

Leg 3

MONDAY

Hiking lovers- it's your day! if you get up early ,chance to have an amazing walk with beautiful views from local village to one the biggest and most beautiful caves of the Cyclades - house of mythological giant :)Those that are not up for hiking can have a swim or explore the beautiful bay with paddle boards / kayaks, or simply have a slow morning in this quite paradise. Next we set sails and sail for about 1-2 hours to arrive in yet another amazing beautiful bay. Depending on the wind we may discover a WWII plane wreck or explore another cave - this time at the sea, deep and breathtaking with lots of colourful fish! or even better - have 2 swim stops that day :) after lunch we sail again to another island to arrive before sunset. The harbour is so tiny there that we may stay on the anchor if we don't come early enough to fit inside. evening is for exploring the typical greek white house blue roof architecture which enables you to go back in time to unspoiled Greece as it used to be.

MONDAY

Leg 4

TUESDAY

For volunteers: Aga will take you for a morning run on a trail alongside blue water sea and caves. After breakfast we sail to Caribbean-like bay with turquoise water where you can swim to the white sand beach, explore the devil's eye or (for the brave ones) jump off the cliff :) After lunch we set sail for a few hours and arrive in Amorgos. During passage, chance to learn more from Greg, steer ect. In the evening (after a well deserved aperitivo for the brave Sailors!) chance to either explore Chora by night and have a dinner in a very local small taverna squeezed in a small narrow alley or go for a dinner in a local harbour town and relax.

TUESDAY

Leg 5

WEDNESDAY

In the morning we rent either cars or scooter or taxi to go the one of a kind, stunning, second oldest monastery carved in the rocks, where monks are waiting for you with their hospitality, A perfect blend of nature and the beauty of man’s creation, Later for a refreshment quick dip into the blue water in the bay known from Luc Besson Le grand bleu film. In the afternoon we either stay on Amorgos (as there are so many things to explore!) or set sails on yet another amazing island. We sail for a few hours and stop to swim next to desert islands (only goats there to meet) where most likely we will be alone. Lunch, sailing again, final destination - hippie island with only 1 taverna (known only by locals) which is as Greek as you can get! To get there we first go by dinghy then a 15 minutes hike and here we are :) Coming back in the night under amazing stars far away from any civilization is one of a kind experience you will never forget! night on the anchor in a beautiful bay!

WEDNESDAY

Leg 6

THURSDAY

Before coffee, morning swim in your private pool in an absolutely stunning bay (where we are on anchor and tied to the rocks) or exploring nature on a paddle board is a must on a sailing holiday :) A slow morning close to nature surrounded by the blue water is a perfect start of the day! After breakfast we set sails. Another chance to polish your sailing skills, learn how to steer, moor, tie a rope on a clit etc. We are both eager to share our knowledge with those that are interested while others relax and sunbathe on deck.. We arrive in a local, small village Time for another swim or a relax and a cold beer in a port bar before climbing stairs to Chora (hidden on top from Pirates). The masters of grill in the family run taverna will prepare the best meat and fish for you. The village on the hill is typical Greek where time has stopped and people are living a slow life. Before coming on the boat, have a seat with Greek Papa in the bar at the local square-you will enjoy it,i promise :)

THURSDAY

Leg 7

FRIDAY

After healthy, fresh breakfast we set sails towards Naxos - it will be a longer sailing day. Chance to steer and learn or relax and rest on deck. Depending on the wind we will choose one of the safe and sheltered bay for the final swim in the trip. The everyday set of swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling and relaxing is on :) the lunch made by Aga (which are often said to be the highlights of the trip) will be waiting for you upon returning from beach time or sea-exploring. Setting sails again for the home port in Naxos. Arriving before sunset and optional tour to the winery to end the sailing trip with a truly local accent.

FRIDAY

Leg 8

SATURDAY

The moment we like the least - after a week on board when you finally feel like home, know everything about boat life and we are not needed anymore - time to say goodbye! Hugs and tears are present and promises for another meeting are made. :)

09:00 in the morning we start cleaning and getting ready for another guests to come to start the adventure all over again.

Best local experience and amazing views in Cyclades on a big 50 ft boat

Insomma…Vacanza molto piacevole e rilassante!

My daughter and I have had a wonderful experience and enjoyed very much our stay on the boat. Greg have succeed to avoid the bad weather which was happening in Greece by carefully studying and planning our sailing journey without taking away the discovery and the fun. We have experience some real sailing moments with some rough sea which was for me one of the highlight of the trip. The journey took us in some unexpected places and made us discover the beauty of the Cyclades. An other highlight of the stay was the absolutely wonderful lunches and healthy breakfast Aga prepared for us everyday. The relax and friendly atmosphere on board was very pleasant. Overall a fantastic holiday we will never forget.

Had an amazing time sailing the small Cyclades with Greg and Aga! Despite challenging weather conditions they worked so hard to make our trip fun and enjoyable. Greg is a great skipper and was always happy to have us get involved in learning all aspects of sailing. Aga's breakfast and lunches were delicious, often the best meals of the day! Both Greg and Aga are so passionate about sailing life and really like to share this with their crew. Loved it!

The week spent with Aga and Greg sailing the Saronic Islands was very nice, it was a very nice mix of Sailing, swimming in remote bays and discovering the different ports and their Tavernas. What really stood out was Agas Cooking, we had the best Breakfasts and Lunches, healthy and super tasty! You can really see that Greg is a very experienced sailer/Skipper... we always felt very safe and his maneuvers in the little ports are incredible!
