This experience, in a nutshell

Explore the Ionian Islands aboard a sailing catamaran: The Journey of 2025!

We will travel in a beautiful scenery between green islands that emerge from an emerald sea, among myths and history of ancient Greece, we will taste local cuisine, we will stop in exclusive bays, we will sail with the help of Aeolus on modern catamarans driven by experienced and qualified skippers ready to teach sailing techniques for those who wish.

Sailing in these waters does not involve long transfers, in fact most of the movements are on short stretches and in calm waters where the wind is not lacking, you sail quietly in a poorly formed sea close to the countless islands of the archipelago.

A sustainable journey

We will travel between the islands by sailing with stops in beautiful bays. However, there will be stops on land, with visits to the charming villages of the Greek islands and their taverns full of the culinary delights of the heirs of Ulysses. We will share the spaces on board, respecting our travel companions and above all the places we visit, careful to minimize our impact on nature and the ecosystem that will surround us.

The program may be subject to change due to weather conditions and/or on the indication of the Skipper.

The fee includes membership in the sports association and accident insurance coverage.

It is possible to schedule a departure from Kefalonia (Sami or Agia Eufimia) only in case of booking the entire boat.

The Boat

Spacious and modern exterior
Sporty, flowing lines are the goal of this boat, perfect
for your catamaran cruise to discover the most beautiful places
of the Sea of Ulysses, ensures comfortable and safe navigation
thanks to ergonomic shapes and steps suspended at the level of the decks,
guaranteeing a perfect organisation of spaces and connections
between exterior and interior unparalleled.

Refined and functional interior
elegance and functionality perfectly integrated. The cabins are equipped with
with double beds and private bathroom, as well as ample space for storing
luggage. Of great impact is the presence of natural light thanks to the
presence of large windows that offer a beautiful view
to the outside. The kitchen is equipped with large areas for cooking and
food preparation and overlooks the cockpit outside.

The catamaran is equipped with a tender for going ashore when
the boat is moored in the roadstead, GPS navigation system, kitchen
fully equipped with hob, oven, sink and refrigerator
complete household: crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, beds with sheets
pillows, pillowcases, blankets and duvets. Wi-Fi and echo sounder.

The catamaran is also fully equipped with all the most modern
safety systems and complies with all regulations required by the
Marine Authorities and Harbour Offices.

Outline program

From Lefkada (reachable by plane or ferry) we head south passing through Skorpio (famous because it is the former island of Onassis) to get to Meganisi.

The tour then continues with the discovery of Kalamos and Kastos, small islands with beautiful bays and beaches. Then we will head to Ithaca passing through Atokos where we can dive into an exclusive bay.

And then to discover the beauties of Ithaca: Kioni, Vhati. From here, head southeast to reach Sami as an alternative to Agia Eufimia.

From Sami if we are early through a beautiful path in the woods, visit to the Acropolis of Sami, an archaeological site of great beauty. From Sami heading north with a stop in the bay to reach Fiscardo, here we can have dinner on the boat or reach the village with a nice walk.

In the morning we visit the white beaches northwest of Ithaca, then head to Lefkada, here you can stop in Nidri, a lively town full of shops.

We will return to Lefkada the night before disembarkation.

I don't think it could have gone better than this. A mixture of adventure, fun and mystery that I will hardly forget! Probably the best choice at this time of my life! A round of applause to the skipper Leo and the hostess Ilda who were always present in all the needs of the guests on board with a sympathy and empathy that I still feel now! The only unexpected thing was that the fridge broke but we improvised with ice and it went great anyway! All the shades of green and blue that I have seen, the paradisiacal beaches, the lunches and dinners in joy, will haunt me in my dreams ... for a long time!

I was so excited to go sailing in Greece. This dream unfortunately took a quick turn into a nightmare. The captain didn’t take us to any of the sites listed on the itinerary. We stayed close to the original port the whole trip. We would ask him each day to go to one of the listed places and he would just ignore the suggestions. He would also blame it each day on the weather yet we had beautiful weather the whole trip, minus the first day. The boat itself was constantly breaking down. We had a broke toilet which was not a plus. But the worst part of the trip was when the captain used the outside shower in front of myself and a few of the other girls on the boat. He proceeded to take his swim shorts off deliberately flashing his private parts to us. All the lady’s became super uncomfortable on the boat afterwards. It was super inappropriate. Would highly recommended spending your money elsewhere. Was a horrific experience.
