This experience, in a nutshell

Crossing Cagliari - Sicily.

Crossing of about 140 NM (25 hours) to the island of Marettimo and then continue to the other Egadi Islands. This archipelago is located at the western end of Sicily, a few miles from Trapani, and consists of the islands of Favignana, Levanzo, Marettimo, the islet of Formica and the rock of Maraone.

The Egadi Islands are set in beautiful crystal clear waters, and are home to a rich and varied marine flora and fauna. These characteristics make this archipelago a popular destination for snorkelling, diving and sailing enthusiasts, as well as of course for days on the beach and swimming in waters with wonderful colors ranging from turquoise to deep blue, with seabeds rich in life. However, the natural beauty of the Egadine waters also extends to the mainland. In fact, for those who love walks surrounded by nature, these islands show a rich vegetation where there is no shortage of endemic plants with medicinal properties, while from the point of view of fauna, birds and small mammals such as hares and rabbits are of great importance.

In order to preserve the natural beauty of the archipelago, the Marine Protected Area (MPA) of the Egadi Islands, the largest marine reserve in Europe, has recently been established.

Our itinerary

An excellent idea to take sailing lessons even offshore during the crossing. In fact, beautiful walks and guided kayak excursions are also part of the program for those who love to immerse themselves in nature,

Palma and Menorca

We enjoyed a very pleasant sailing week leaving from Palma de Mallorca , coasting the eastern side of Mallorca, crossing to Menorca and reaching Mahon from the northern side of the island. Tommaso has been a very relaxed and competent skipper, always attentive to our requests and keen to discuss with us the best route to take on a daily basis. A memorable experience.
