From the port/airport of Olbia (Golfo Aranci) the distance is about 35-45 km with travel times of around 40-60 minutes, along the regional road system northwards; from Sassari the distance is about 90-110 km with times around 1h15-1h40; from Porto Torres the distance exceeds 100 km with times around 1h40-2h10. For those coming from the Italian peninsula by car, it is necessary to embark on the ferries to the ports of Sardinia (Golfo Aranci/Olbia or Porto Torres) and continue by road to Palau; Crossing times vary depending on the port of departure and the company.

🚆 By train
Palau does not have a train station; the reference stations on the mainland are Olbia and Sassari, served by Trenitalia regional connections and local rail services; from Olbia station the continuation to Palau is by bus, taxi or car rental, with a total time from the station to Palau approximately 45-70 minutes; from Sassari station the continuation by road by bus or taxi takes about 1h15-1h40. Check regional train schedules and bus connections to plan transfers.

✈️ By plane
The nearest airport is Olbia Costa Smeralda (OLB), about 35-45 km away; from the terminal there are scheduled buses, taxis, private transfers and car rental; the airport-Palau transfer takes about 40-60 minutes depending on the vehicle and traffic. Alternative airports with longer transfer times are Alghero-Fertilia (AHO), around 120-150 km with times around 1h45-2h15, and Cagliari-Elmas (CAG), around 270-320 km with times around 3h-3h30 by road.

The skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in one of the boat's cabins.

Double cabins are usually assigned to those traveling as a couple, while those booking individually share a cabin with another traveler of the same gender. Spots are assigned in order of booking, except in special cases.

No, it is not possible to reserve a single cabin, as all cabins are shared between participants in order to maintain the group travel formula.

The provisions will be purchased by the participants immediately after boarding.

Meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience, unless the optional “Hostess/Cook on board” service is available and has been chosen.
