This experience, in a nutshell

ATTENTION: THE LAST REMAINING DOUBLE CABIN CAN ONLY BE BOOKED BY 2 PEOPLE BOARDING TOGETHER

CODIV-19 EMERGENCY: to ensure maximum safety conditions on board, this year the cabins will not be shared between people who do not live together or who do not board as a couple.
Our boat will be completely sanitized with ozone before each embarkation and on board you will find the hand disinfectant gel and every product useful for daily sanitation.

Furthermore, for everyone's safety, we need to check the health of all guests who will come on board.
We ask those who have already had the vaccine to bring on board the certificate of vaccination issued by the health authority that administered it, while for unvaccinated people, the negative result of a PCR test (carried out in the 72 hours preceding the boarding) or an antigen test (carried out within 48 hours prior to boarding).

It will also be possible to self-administer, in the presence of the skipper, a quick test that will be provided at a cost of 10 euros to those who have neither the vaccination certificate nor the negative result of a test. In case of refusal, unfortunately it will not be possible to proceed with boarding.

* * * * * For the week of the Falling Stars we have chosen to head towards the wonderful inlets of the Giglio Island and the magnificent coasts of the Elba Island .
We will embark on Saturday evening in the elegant Marina di San Vincenzo, the tourist port of the city. From here, on Sunday morning we will sail towards Elba.

The first day we will visit Porto Azzurro , a characteristic fishing village, surrounded by golden beaches and the deep blue of the sea waters. The main feature of this country lies in the ability to offer its visitors many interesting activities, being characterized by both a rich natural heritage and an equally precious and varied artistic and cultural heritage.

On Monday we will sail until we reach the Isola del Giglio , here we will sleep at anchor to enjoy the rain of shooting stars away from the lights in the magical atmosphere of unspoiled nature.
The next day we will go ashore to visit the charming village of Giglio Castello or circumnavigate the island to explore its beautiful bays: the solitary and wild Cala dell'Allume , with its transparent waters, and the Spiaggia delle Cannelle , where a fine white sand and gently sloping will give us colors from tropical seas.

On Tuesday evening, the return to Elba is scheduled for a night sailing. The exciting navigation under a celestial vault illuminated by shooting stars will be the best memory of this splendid adventure.

We will then arrive on Wednesday morning in Golfo Stella where we will have the opportunity to admire the romantic cove of Innamorata watched over by the Gemini Islets , with the clarity of their waters and the evocative and incomparable sunsets.
The Innamorata legend takes us back to the age of pirates and precisely in 1534 and tells us the sad and romantic story of two young lovers: Lorenzo and Maria. The young bride-to-be (Innamorata, hence the name of the beach), in an attempt to save her beloved, kidnapped and dragged on the ship by the pirates of Barbarossa, threw herself into the sea disappearing among the waves. Only her shawl was found on a rock, since then called the Ciarpa.
In the afternoon we will stop en route to Marina di Campo , where we will sleep at anchor in front of the beach.

Thursday we will continue to reach what is considered the most evocative beach of the island: the Fetovavia with its fine beach and its crystal clear waters. For the evening we will head to Marciana Marina , a small jewel of the island. Just five square kilometers of luxuriant nature that develop around the beautiful promenade and its squares, rightly considered real living rooms overlooked by elegant and well-kept homes of illustrious guests.

Friday during the day we will dedicate ourselves to exploring the wonderful bays of Procchio, Biodola and Viticcio .
For the last night we will be welcomed by the wonderful Gulf of Baratti , a perfect combination of a crystalline sea, a history of important civilizations and the typical nature of the Maremma.
Disembarkation is scheduled for Saturday morning.

Life on board is relaxed and fun, you make new friends and work together in the management of common life.

On board, everyone can freely choose whether to relax and enjoy the holiday in complete relaxation, or whether to try to get involved by experimenting with the maneuvers or taking the helm (under the supervision of the skipper).

Everyone is only asked to participate in life on board, as each one wants and can do, in an atmosphere of fun and mutual collaboration.
A crate will be created on board to support the costs of food, ports and fuel.

The activities of our association have always been guided by the ethical values that are the basis of our daily actions: we sail according to the principles of responsible tourism, with respect for the environment to guide us. Our main fuel is wind and our energy is solar.
We will do the separate collection of waste and we will not use disposable plastic tableware.

Magnificent weekend of sailing on the island of Elba

Positive experience with some flaws. In fact, this amateur sports association promotes the sharing of life on the boat in unison with all the members. In reality, the skipper himself deprives guests of a freshwater shower, while enjoying it for himself, the concept of sharing is lost. Positive experience for sea, journey and cleanliness. Negative for the skipper's attitude as it was unwelcoming and helpful with respect to the needs and requirements of the guests, every request was a small problem, from disembarking with the tender in port to the denied freshwater shower and not least the constant smell of pipe both inside and outside the boat.

Shooting Star Cruise in Corsica with return at night

08/13/2023

Maria M.

Alessandro is a gentle skipper under the rind of the hard and grumpy sailor. Attentive to everyone's needs, he knows how to introduce the crew members to the authentic and essential values of the sea, sharing his skills and opening, sometimes jealously, his boat "[hidden]" to those who, like me, wanted to abandon themselves to the breeze of the wind.

Alessandro is an exquisite person as well as very competent and helpful. He always made us feel safe in every situation, even in those where the weather was not the best. Relaxing and fun cruise, great music, shame about the little wind. We'll have to come back! Undoubtedly recommended experience.
