This experience, in a nutshell

A week on a sailing boat to discover the Egadi islands starting from Palermo is a unique experience, which mixes the beauty of nature, the charm of the crystal clear sea and the tranquility of a journey away from the daily hustle and bustle.

Sailing through the most hidden bays of Favignana, Marettimo and Levanzo, you can explore sea caves, remote coves and breathtaking landscapes, immersed in the peace of Sicilian waters. Every day offers an opportunity for discovery, whether it's a shore excursion, a stop at the historic tuna fisheries, or an evening under the stars at anchor.

The isolation of some bays and the direct contact with nature make this trip a real adventure, with the added charm of being able to choose, from time to time, the best route based on the weather.

Concluding the tour at the Zingaro Nature Reserve, with its scenic paths and turquoise waters, is the final touch of an unforgettable week, which leaves in the heart the memory of a timeless corner of Sicily.

It was the first boat experience for the whole group (4 guys) and it couldn't have gone better than this. An unforgettable holiday in a real paradise. Gaetano has always been available and ready to solve any unforeseen event, because several can happen on a boat, but they are part of the adventure. I recommend this wonderful experience to everyone.

The Aeolian Islands turned out to be an extraordinary destination and the experience was made even more special thanks to our skipper Gaetano, who was not only a great company, but also showed great professionalism and helpfulness. The boat, despite its compact size, proved to be very comfortable for a group of 5 people.

The destination is beautiful and you can see the main areas of the islands. Unfortunately the time available is short to visit them well considering that the first and penultimate day are travel and that the last morning is only for check out. The experience overall went well but was partly ruined by the fact that the refrigerator never reached a food storage temperature because every time we stopped it was turned off. Unfortunately we had to throw away a lot of food that went bad since the cockpit was perpetually at room temperature. It would probably be enough to warn the crew in advance not to buy food that needs to be in the refrigerator. The boat is good for 6 passengers in addition to the skipper. In 8 people it is a little cramped, especially in the room with 3 beds. The cushions around the table and the rudder (as visible in the current photos 6, 8 and 14) would also have been useful. I recommend putting them on for the next charter to be more comfortable.
