Celebrate Easter and Easter Monday with us on board our 14 m sailboat..... a sailing experience among the most beautiful islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea.... Ventotene, Ischia, Procida.

A holiday that combines:

offshore sailing
well-being of the thermal baths of Ischia
relaxation on board an extremely comfortable boat, equipped with air conditioning,
good food cooked by us, or eating on land in the typical island restaurants in search of typical dishes such as... rabbit at Ischia on Mount Epomeo.

We can accommodate up to 8 people + 1 skipper

A boat designed for comfortable and safe navigation. Guests have access to 2 double cabins, 2 bathrooms, 1 double bed in the dinette + another double bed (also in the dinette). In the dinette there is also the galley (with oven) and the skipper's cabin.

The Boat

Questa barca a vela è nata dalla penna dello statunitense Dick Carter, che la disegnò per partecipare alle regate della Admiral cup.

Realizzata presso i cantieri “del Pardo”, famosi per la realizzazione dei Gran soleil, possiede indiscusse doti marine che la rendono adatta alle traversate oceaniche “ognitempo”.

Lo scafo in vetroresina dal grande spessore le ha permesso di essere classificata in “classe A” (adatta a navigazioni senza limiti dalla costa).

Esternamente ha una tuga “flush deck” (ovvero su un solo livello senza sovrastrutture), per un'ottima vivibilità esterna. Due pozzetti esterni, uno per l’equipaggio, uno per il timoniere.

La zona di poppa ha una plancetta esterna con scaletta per scendere a mare.

La zona “prendisole” è situata a prua dell’albero su comodi cuscini.

Un impianto stereo bluetooth ed il wi-fi permettono una confortevole permanenza a bordo degli ospiti.

Se pur lunga 14 mt. gli spazi interni permettono a 10 persone + skipper di trovare posti letto. Lo skipper ha una cabina privata a sua disposizione e per gli ospiti rimangono:

2 divani/letto singoli in dinette
2 bagni con doccia

IMPORTANTE: questa barca è dotata di ARIA CONDIZIONATA! Nel caso la temperatura lo richieda, e la barca sia ormeggiata in un porto con collegamento alla corrente elettrica di terra, lo skipper provvederà ad accendere l’impianto di aria condizionata, aumentando il comfort.

Leg 1

Day 1 - Friday

Boarding from the port of Formia by 10.30 a.m. Luggage storage and cabin assignment. After a short briefing we cast off the moorings! We raise the sails and sail in the direction of VENTOTENE. Lunch on board (by the guests) and after 4 hours of sailing (or motor navigation in case of little wind) we moor at PARATA GRANDE for the first of many swims. In the late afternoon we enter the port and moor to transit. You decide whether to go ashore for an aperitif and dinner or not! The boat is moored in the port at a cost of 60 euros per night (to be divided among the cruise participants).

Leg 2

Day 2 - Saturday

Breakfast on board We leave the port for a swim in one of the coves of the island of VENTOTENE. Lunch on board and then off to PONZA. We reach it in about 3 hours and drop anchor in the ARCO NATURALE area. In the late afternoon we will place our boat in the roadstead in the FRONTONE area. That will be the placement for the night. You can have an aperitif and dinner on land, using a convenient taxi service to get off. (this service will allow all of you not to be tied to a predefined return time, but to be able to return at any time you want)

Leg 3

Day 3 - Sunday

Breakfast on board and then leave the moorings heading towards PALMAROLA, which we reach in about 1 hour of navigation. We'll stop at one of the island's magnificent coves. (Spermeaturo, Cala Brigantino, the Cathedrals, the French). Lunch on board. In the late afternoon, we have two options:

Stay in Palmarola for the night and experience the thrill of sleeping on an uninhabited island, lulled by the waves and illuminated by the moonlight. Of course we have to have dinner on board.

Head for Ponza and moor in the Frontone area. Dinner on board or on land.

Leg 4

Day 4 - Monday

Breakfast on board and then leave the moorings heading to the west side of the island of Ponza for a swim in Chiaia di Luna and Lucia Rosa. Lunch on board and then we sail to Formia, where we will moor by 19.00

Un po’ al di sotto delle aspettative. Luca è molto gentile e disponibile, nonchè uno skipper esperto e ottimo cuoco. Tuttavia, per alcuni aspetti sono rimasta delusa, in particolare in considerazione del fatto che l’esperienza viene presentata come opzione un po’ più lussuosa e comoda (con consequente costo di partecipazione più alto della media). Le cabine sono particolarmente piccole (il [hidden] è una barca da regata riadattata). Inoltre mentre 3 cabine hanno il loro bagno privato, altre 5 persone condividono un unico bagno adiacente a una delle cabine. La hostess Sabina si è rivelata poco professionale e a tratti sgarbata nei confronti dei partecipanti. L’atmosfera si è distesa quando è andata via al terzo giorno della vacanza. Luca è stato bravissimo a sopperire la sua assenza, ma in ogni caso il servizio hostess che viene pagato nella quota non è stato coperto. Purtroppo non siamo potuti andare a vela a causa di un pezzo di sicurezza mancante. Per quanto sono cose che possono capitare, mi domando se la barca fosse stata soggetta alla necessaria manutenzione e controlli prima della partenza. Infine, le condizioni di pulizia della barca non erano ottimali. Già alla partenza, l’esterno era piuttosto sporco. Inoltre abbiamo avuto un problema di formiche a bordo per il quale non è stato fatto niente nonostante le varie lamentele e suggerimenti di acquistare un prodotto apposito.

I bring with me beautiful memories of my first experience on a sailing boat, an experience shared with a friend and with other nice people met on board the beautiful and comfortable boat that hosted us. The skipper Luca immediately gave me security and confidence thanks to his experience and skills, understandable even by a neophyte like me, and also delighted us with tasty meals consumed overlooking the wonderful views of the Pontine islands. Experience to do and repeat.

Very nice holiday. The boat is large with large and comfortable outdoor spaces. We sailed in the Pontine archipelago and admired and enjoyed truly wonderful places, with clear waters of a thousand colors and breathtaking views. Palmarola in particular is an enchantment. Luca was the added value of this cruise, skilled and capable Skipper always master of the situation, who instills security, kind caring, patient and magnificent cook. We ate really well. Excellent meals prepared with care and mainly fish. I did several cabin charter cruises, 3 with Sailsquare, without taking anything away from the others this was certainly the best. A heartfelt thanks to Luca and also to my wonderful travel companions.
