This experience, in a nutshell

Nulla ci da la stessa emozione di una crociera in barca a vela, anche pochi giorni contribuiscono a farti ritrovare una sensazione di libertà e serenità che non ha eguali. Ciascuno può scegliere di fare una semplice vacanza in barca a vela rilassandosi in armonia con la natura oppure dedicarsi all'apprendimento della navigazione a vela seguito da esperti Istruttori d'altura FIV.

La barca è un cabinato di 12.30 metri moderno e confortevole, perfettamente organizzato per la navigazione e la permanenza a bordo.

Al mattino si mollano gli ormeggi e si naviga verso le rade e gli affascinanti borghi marinari della Costa Azzurra, alternando momenti di navigazione a momenti di relax, cullati dalle onde all'ancora in una baia.

Cap Ferrat, le acque cristalline delle isole di Lérins, sono alcuni dei luoghi che visiteremo dal mare .

La sera passeggeremo per i vivaci borghi marinari di Nizza, Antibes, Cannes, nella mondanità della "Cote". L’itinerario esatto dipende dalle aspettative dell’equipaggio e dalle condizioni meteo, l'idea è portarti a vivere una esperienza indimenticabile...

The experience overall was good! It would have been appreciated, though, if I had been informed somewhat in advance that I was the only one who wasn’t Italian, and with the change of skipper, nobody involved with the boat spoke a word of English. Only the “guests” did, which was of course great as they kindly translated things for me, but it still made the situation uncomfortable. Since everyone naturally spoke the same language, all conversations were in Italian - which I understand but unless I asked for a translation, I didn’t really know what was happening and I was naturally excluded from conversations which wasn’t the best feeling. It also felt a bit strange to be regulated on when we were allowed to use the bathroom or take a shower (mostly never). As a first-timer on a boat, I was also a little shocked that, due to the bad weather, we almost had to pay an extra €500 on top of the original fees just to stay in the harbour and for food. I understand the food part, but a heads-up beforehand would have been really helpful, especially that in case of bad weather, nothing is included in the price and everything extra has to be paid separately on top. That being said, everyone was very kind and there were no issues otherwise.

Although the weather was not the best, the experience was overall positive between the excellent company we were lucky enough to find and the evocative places visited. Our skipper Manuel stood out for his friendliness, patience and attention to everyone's needs, We had a lot of fun!

The cruise with Federico was spectacular! He welcomed us with great availability and made us feel at ease from the first moment. We sailed a lot, as soon as possible sailing with only the sound of the wind. We always felt calm and safe thanks to the skipper's great experience and his constant attention to every detail. His knowledge of the places allowed us to explore beautiful places. To this must be added that he cooks very well! If you are lucky enough to have Emanuele, his son, on the boat, the company will be enriched by a young boy full of intelligence and positive energy! We got off the boat reluctantly and we can't wait to be able to do more miles on the beautiful Angelica!
