From the north, take the A14 motorway to the exit for Bari or Brindisi, then continue on the SS16/E55 southbound towards Lecce; from Lecce take the SP / provincial roads to Otranto for a stretch of about 30 km (approximate driving time Lecce-Otranto 30-40 minutes). Distances and approximate times by car: from Bari about 150 km, 1h50-2h10; from Brindisi about 70-80 km, 1h10-1h30; from Lecce about 30 km, 30-40 minutes. If you arrive by car from the motorway, provide extra-urban routes in the last stretch towards the coast and parking near the historic center.

Reference station: Lecce (railway station and terminus for regional lines); there is the Ferrovie del Sud Est Lecce-Otranto line with a stop in Otranto (Otranto Station). Typical connections: regional trains and some services from Brindisi to Lecce (about 25-35 minutes), interregional trains or Frecce trains from Bari to Lecce (about 1h30-1h50); from Lecce the FSE connection to Otranto takes about 40-50 minutes. To reach Otranto by train it is necessary to change in Lecce if you are coming from Bari or Brindisi; timetables vary between Trenitalia and Ferrovie del Sud Est services.

Nearest airports: Brindisi Airport (BDS) and Bari Karol Wojtyła Airport (BRI). Distances by car: Brindisi-Otranto about 75-90 km, transfer time by car 1h10-1h30; Bari-Otranto about 150 km, time about 2h. Car rentals and taxis are available from the airports; from Brindisi it is possible to take buses/shuttles or regional train to Brindisi city and continue by train or bus to Lecce, then connect to the Lecce-Otranto line of the Ferrovie del Sud Est. Promotion of companies not included; Check the transfer schedules for connecting flights.

The skipper - and any crew members, if applicable - sleep in one of the boat's cabins.

At guests' disposal there are two double cabins at the stern, while the one in the bow is occupied by the skipper / owner ... and many other things about the boat in order to leave the dinette freer.

No, it is not possible to reserve a single cabin, as all cabins are shared between participants in order to maintain the group travel formula.

It is managed by the participants but if there are difficulties or special needs we find a solution together.

The skipper helps out, but meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience.

Travelling light is recommended: especially in summer, when you will almost exclusively be wearing swimwear, T-shirts, and shorts on the boat during the day. A sweatshirt and long pants for the evening may be sufficient in the height of summer, while something warmer is preferable in the cooler months, as well as a waterproof windbreaker in case of bad weather or when sailing. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun, flip-flops/sandals for going ashore; if you want to wear shoes on board - especially useful when sailing - they must have white soles and be used only on the boat. It may also be useful to bring a small waterproof container for your wallet/cell phone to use when going ashore. For bed linen and towels, please refer to the “What's included” section.

A soft bag is required for transporting luggage, so that it can be easily stowed away. Hard suitcases and trolleys should be avoided, as they are difficult, if not impossible, to stow. A small backpack or beach bag may be useful for shore excursions.

Yes, a basic knowledge of sailing and the main maneuvers is required to participate in this experience.

Locations and dates of departure and disembarkation cannot be changed, which tour to do in the islands we will decide together based on the weather and the preferences of the participants

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed on board.

No, smoking is not permitted on board, either inside or outside the boat.

The boat is equipped with both 12V sockets (with USB and/or cigarette lighter connectors) and 220V sockets, which can normally be used at any time.

We will spend the night moored in a bay or in port, where we will be able to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
