This experience, in a nutshell

Embark on an unforgettable 3-week adventure, crossing the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean from one of the most fascinating islands in the Canaries/Lanzarote to the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean. This epic journey will take you far from the mainland, to one of the most extraordinary ocean crossings, where every day will be a new discovery, every night a starry sky that you will never have seen before.

Aboard a modern vessel, you will sail away from conventional routes, sailing the open waters with an experienced crew ready to guide you through this exciting challenge. The winds of the Atlantic will accompany you along the way, while the sea will show itself in all its power and beauty. During the crossing, you will have the opportunity to learn ocean navigation techniques, actively participate in the management of the boat, but also enjoy the comfort of the catamaran, with ample space to relax and breathe the fresh sea air.

The days at sea will be marked by the tranquility of the Atlantic and the sudden emotions that only such a long navigation can give. Time will seem to stand still as you cross vast horizons, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Each stage will be an opportunity to explore new sailing techniques, observe marine fauna and experience moments of pure serenity.

Finally, when you land in the Caribbean, the paradisiacal archipelago will welcome you with white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and a vibrant culture that will captivate you. The Atlantic crossing is not just a journey, it is a transformative experience, an opportunity for renewal and freedom, in which the sea and the wind become companions of adventure.

Join us on this incredible 21-day crossing, where the heart of the ocean will make you discover the beauty of the world, of yourself and of the purest nature.

Our itinerary

The Atlantic crossing includes departure from the Canary Islands , usually from Lanzarote (Marina Rubicon) with destination the Caribbean. You will follow the route of the trade winds, taking advantage of the constant winds from the east that facilitate navigation. The journey covers approximately 2,700 nautical miles across the central Atlantic Ocean.

The boat will be completely self-sufficient, with 24-hour guard shifts. The navigation takes place under sail, without intermediate stops, offering an intense and immersive experience.

The estimated duration of the crossing is between 19 and 21 days, depending on the weather conditions and the performance of the boat. The arrival is scheduled in one of the Caribbean islands, such as Guadaloupe.

It is a unique experience for lovers of offshore sailing, in full contact with the sea, nature and the starry sky of the ocean.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

The boat is very beautiful, well maintained and equipped with many comforts, and this makes your stay on board pleasant. The itinerary is also interesting, but with elements to take into consideration: several hours of navigation are planned (about 12 on the first day and 6 on the second, as well as similar times in the last days of return). In addition, these are areas where, once you arrive in the evening, it is not always easy to experience the place: many merchants close as early as around 9 pm, so the opportunities to explore on land are limited. The crew proved to be competent and attentive to the safety of navigation, with attention to detail during meals and attention to everyone's dietary needs. However, in general, it would have been appreciable to have more involvement of guests in the small choices of the week (such as the organization of the day and activities). A more proactive approach to sharing information and opportunities would have made the experience even more enjoyable and participatory. The same principle would also apply to the management of the common fund (€ 600 per person), of which we did not have visibility during the week. An episode related to the blockage of the toilet was also handled in disrespectful tones and with an immediate attribution of responsibility, before the technical cause of the problem was clarified. The solution was to use the bathroom of the other guests, which was only made possible thanks to the climate of collaboration between us participants. Again, a more balanced approach to managing the situation would certainly have been appreciated. Overall, an experience with several positive aspects, but with some room for improvement in the management of communication and relationship with guests.
