For all sea and sailing enthusiasts, for those who do not want to miss a unique show in the world, the appointment is in Trieste, every year, on the second Sunday of October. It's the BARCOLANA, the great international sailing regatta that combines a magical mix of competitive competition and a "pop" sailing party.

At the start, a unique sight: sailboats brought by the helmsmen who animate the world sailing circuits, by passionate racers and cruise passengers, all bewitched by an event in which every seafarer, at least once, must participate!

The route is a triangle about 13 miles long, and I arrive in front of Piazza Unità d'Italia.

You don't need to have previous racing experience.

Get on board and you will be the protagonist of a unique event with great emotions!

SATURDAY At 1.00 p.m. we meet in Trieste, and after the accommodation of EACH IN A SINGLE BERTH, we will make two trips in the sea to become familiar with the boat and try the maneuvers. In the late afternoon we will return to shore to see the "custom-built" boats moored on the "shores", at the Audace pier and the historic sails of Barcolana Classic. Dinner all together in a typical Trieste trattoria with "border cuisine". We will continue the evening in the streets of the center where the party continues until late at night!

SUNDAY morning at 9.00 a.m. we go out to sea to participate, in the regatta, in the legendary BARCOLANA! After the regatta, in the afternoon, a toast of celebration and return to Trieste for disembarkation.

The costs of the skipper, mooring, fuel and registration for the regatta are set at a flat rate of € 150.00 for each participant and are to be paid at embarkation.
