Our itinerary

On Saturday evening we will complete the boarding operations.

Sunday morning, we’ll depart for the island of Vulcano, sailing along the Coast of the Gods, past Tropea and Capo Vaticano. We’ll stop briefly in a bay for a swim and to explore the coves of Capo Vaticano.

We’ll reach Vulcano in the evening and anchor in the harbor bay, where you can go ashore and enjoy the island’s typical local venues.

Monday morning, for those interested, we’ll organize a low-difficulty hike to the crater of the volcano (approx. 3 hours) to admire the stunning views of the archipelago and the still-active fumaroles. Alternatively, you can enjoy a swim in the natural thermal waters.

In the afternoon, we’ll sail to the Faraglioni of Lipari, admire the old caldera, take a refreshing swim, and end the day anchored near the town for an evening out in local bars and restaurants.

Tuesday morning, we head to the beautiful Pumice Bay, known for its crystal-clear waters. In the afternoon, we’ll set course for the island of Salina, where we’ll spend the evening in a charming village.

Wednesday morning, we’ll stop in the bay of Pollara, made famous by the film Il Postino. In the afternoon, we’ll sail to Filicudi, with a swim stop at La Canna, a dramatic remnant of an ancient collapsed caldera.

Thursday morning, we’ll reach Panarea and anchor in Vizzari Bay, the perfect spot to visit the nearby prehistoric village and enjoy an unforgettable sunset. In the evening, discover the island’s vibrant scene with dinner or drinks at trendy venues.

Friday at 2 am, we’ll set sail for Stromboli to arrive before dawn and safely admire the famous Sciara del Fuoco from the sea. At sunrise, we’ll anchor near the island.

In the early afternoon, after passing close to Strombolicchio, we’ll head back toward Vibo Marina, arriving around 8 pm to conclude our cruise.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Gianni, ottimo compromesso fra lupo di mare e tour leader. Lo skipper "comanda" non discute. L'armatore da crociera "coccola" gli ospiti. Il difficile è fare coesistere i due ruoli o, peggio, separarli nel caso che in regata la bora a 35 nodi ti obblighi a dare "ordini" perentori per portare in porto barca e marinai interi. Lui lo sa fare, anzi, la sua voce roca gli addolcisce. Il vero problema è "l'italico popolo" che mal sopporta l'ordine e non riconosce che, non solo in mare, chi sa comanda, chi non sa esegue.

Barcolana, esperienza unica e irripetibile! Skipper competente e di grande esperienza, un vero lupo di mare. Gianni e la sua dolcissima compagna Giovanna hanno cercato di gestire nel migliore dei modi una regata MOLTO complicata. Bora forte, barca speronata e motore in avaria, tutte condizioni di forte stress (può capitare fa parte del gioco). In queste situazioni Gianni non è stato docile -diciamo carta vetrata- ma a mio avviso si è comportato come un vero comandante, decide lui e basta. Nota negativa: deve scegliere molto meglio suoi aiutanti, sopravvalutare o pretendere troppo da persone poco competenti genera confusione e insicurezza. Grazie!

Una settimana strepitosa di vela in giro per le isole con La Sapienza di Gianni è stata un’esperienza unica Avendo letto alcune recensioni negative ero molto scettico se navigare con Gianni invece non capisco come sia possibile scrivere cattiverie gratuite sulla barca è sulla professionalità di Gianni Vi consiglio assolutamente di navigare con lui Buon vento

Impatto un pò spigoloso, poi imparando a conoscerci l'atmosfera è decisamente migliorata. È un ottimo marinaio e anche durante una lunga traversata con mare agitato non ci sono stati assolutamente problemi. I luoghi visitati molto belli e sempre in tranquillità. La barca ben attrezzata e sicura accusa un pò gli anni di navigazione e talvolta si riflette sull'agio dei turisti. 5 stelle e plus di tutta la vacanza, Giovanna hostess/secondo di bordo, che in ogni frangente, media e mette a proprio agio chiunque. Vacanza da ripetere.
