This experience, in a nutshell

The Dodecanese Islands

Scattered off the coast of Turkey, the islands that make up the Dodecanese

make up the southernmost and most cosmopolitan archipelago, with architectural features of clear oriental influence. They were the last territories to be incorporated into modern Greece.

The archipelago is very diverse, some islands are parched and barren, others green and fertile. In fact, the Dodecanese offers a great variety of natural scenery and activities: impressive beaches equipped for every sport, safe and solitary landings, caves and fjords and even a partially active volcano.

A holiday immersed in the blue, the sun and the wind, an economical and original solution for the summer. The navigation is not demanding, the climate is mild, the weather is stable, rainfall during the summer is almost absent.

Under a great sun, carried by the wind, from port to port, from cove to cove, we will discover the villages and landings of the Dodecanese islands. The itineraries are simple, the stages are short, the day flows relaxed, unpretentious, among the smaller islands where time seems to have stopped.

Depending on the weather conditions, we can sail northwards, between Kos Kalymnos, Leros, Lipsi and Patmos, or in case of strong winds, more protected southwards, between Kos, Nissiros, Tilos, Kalki and Symi.

You don't need pharaonic luggage (you spend the whole day in a swimsuit!), nor previous experience, just a lot of joy, respect for others and a pinch of spirit of adaptation, united by the passion for the sea.

In fact, a sailing cruise is first and foremost a  holiday of simplicity and freedom.  At sea, time expands and harmony with nature is restored . People come to rest, to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, from the rhythms and duties of life in the city.

The boat holiday is suitable for everyone, from adults to children, but it is necessary to be in good general physical shape and equipped with good agility to get on and off the tender, the service dinghy that will often take us from the roadsteads to the shore.

The final choice about the itinerary is always up to the Captain.

Our itinerary

Depending on the actual weather conditions, we will decide on the spot whether to visit the northernmost islands (Kos, Kalymnos, Leros, Patmos, Fournoi) or the southernmost ones (Kos, Symi, Tilos, Nisyros, Chalki, Alimia), which are more sheltered in case the Meltemi, a strong wind from the north, blows fiercely for several days in a row, which is more likely in July and August but which cannot be excluded. However, the itineraries and stops are countless and all beautiful.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

The 10 days on a sailing boat were beautiful. An experience that filled my eyes and heart... it would not have been such if I had not sailed in the company of beautiful people with whom a pleasant connection was created. I thank the "Super Skipper Andrea", a professional: competent, reliable and generous. A holiday that I recommend to those who love the sea and freedom!

The trip was great. Andrea is a very experienced skipper and knows all hidden gems of Greece! Every day was full of surprises, including seeing turtles, tuna fishing, and local wine festival. I particularly appreciated Andrea’s attention to the environment and the promotion of a responsible, local and more authentic way of travelling. Highly recommended!
