This experience, in a nutshell

Let's dispel a myth: Sailing Cruises in Greece are not an expensive choice, they are not just for sea dogs and they are no longer, for a long time, a "snobbish" holiday. On the contrary: a sailing cruise is first and foremost a holiday of simplicity and freedom. At sea, time expands and harmony with nature is rediscovered .

You come to rest, to disconnect from the frenzy, from the rhythms and duties of life in the city. A holiday immersed in the blue, the sun and the wind, an economical and original solution for the summer. All you need is joy, a passion for the sea – which is the real protagonist – and a pinch of spirit of adventure. A holiday you will remember for a lifetime ... and that many of you will want to try again!

Under a great sun, carried by the wind, from port to port, from cove to cove, we will discover the villages and landings of the Aegean islands. White villages clinging to the rock that look down on you from above, jagged coasts, intense light and sunshine, crystal clear sea, churches, castles and monasteries, along with a warm welcome.

These are the Cyclades Islands, the islands of light, which in mythology gave birth to heroes and gods.

The itinerary is very rich that admits multiple variations. All the islands are wonderful, each with its own grace and history. We will alternate days of navigation with stops on land to go and browse the sites of greatest interest, explore the islands by renting bikes, cars or scooters, stretch our legs and treat ourselves to some well-deserved relaxation and some swimming in the most beautiful coves.

More routes and choices on stops are possible and it will be up to the Captain to decide the best one based on the actual weather conditions we will encounter on site.

Red, white, gold, yellow, black, orange...  Milos is an island born from a volcanic eruption. Milos alone is worth the whole trip! Here nature has created art, the rocks are masterpieces of sculpture, its colored stones look like paintings, as well as the beautiful beaches. Petrification hides many minerals and the island is one of the oldest mines in the Mediterranean: before the Cyclades to be inhabited, it became an island of pirates for a long time! The famous Venus was found in Milos, which to the great displeasure of the inhabitants of the island, is proudly displayed in the Louvre in Paris!

After a hearty breakfast on board, early in the morning we set sail heading south towards the island of Paros. If the conditions allow it, we take a swim on the island of Reina, in a beautiful bay with blue water. Lunch on board and calmly enter the port to visit the village.

Leg 3

Day 3

We leave the port and head south with the aim of reaching the Small Cyclades, We stop for lunch in the most beautiful of the coves on our route and then depending on the weather conditions we choose an island to visit and where to stop for the evening ... the Small Cyclades are each a jewel in itself, so we are spoiled for choice!

Leg 4

Day 4

Wake up early and breakfast on board ... we go to visit another bay in the small Cyclades and after a nice refreshing swim and a succulent lunch we head towards Ios, a suggestive and very lively island. In Ios we go up to visit the Chora and we enter the kesba and we get lost in the tangle of alleys and streets, if we want we climb up to the churches on the top of the hill to enjoy a breathtaking sunset. Dinner in the village then we look for an ouzeria where they play some music. We stop at the marina for the night.

Leg 5

Day 5

We go back to sea heading east, with the aim of reaching Folegandros keeping a little further south or Syfnos sailing further north, depending on the weather conditions and the preferences of the crew. Lunch on board in the bay and in the late afternoon we go ashore to explore the island and enjoy from the top of the chora, a breathtaking sunset

We take the sea and approach Milos, heading for Poliagios or directly to Kimolos. Stop for lunch at one of the many wonderful beaches with colorful rocks and caves carved into the rock as a shelter for fishermen's boats. We go up to Kimolos, to visit the island and to enjoy a nice dinner in the tavern.

Leg 7

Day 7

The last day at sea will be dedicated to running around the islands of Kimolos, Poliagios and Milos with their caves, crystal clear water, cliffs, beaches with colored rocks, stacks and typical houses made from shelters for fishermen's boats.

Leg 8

The 10 days on a sailing boat were beautiful. An experience that filled my eyes and heart... it would not have been such if I had not sailed in the company of beautiful people with whom a pleasant connection was created. I thank the "Super Skipper Andrea", a professional: competent, reliable and generous. A holiday that I recommend to those who love the sea and freedom!

The trip was great. Andrea is a very experienced skipper and knows all hidden gems of Greece! Every day was full of surprises, including seeing turtles, tuna fishing, and local wine festival. I particularly appreciated Andrea’s attention to the environment and the promotion of a responsible, local and more authentic way of travelling. Highly recommended!
