This experience, in a nutshell

A sailing trip along the east coast of the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea is an experience that combines crystal clear sea, cities rich in history and natural landscapes of extraordinary beauty.

The itinerary starts from Zadar, a charming city with a Roman and Venetian past, famous for the Sea Organ, the Greeting to the Sun and the nearby islands of Ugljan and Dugi Otok. Sailing south you reach the Paklenica National Park, with its canyons and paths surrounded by nature, and Šibenik, where the Cathedral of St. James, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the ancient Venetian fortresses stand out.

The next stop is the Krka National Park, famous for the spectacular waterfalls and walkways that cross the park. We then continue to Trogir and Split, two authentic jewels of Dalmatia: the first conquers with its medieval UNESCO village, while the second fascinates with Diocletian's Palace, the promenade and the port, the starting point for the islands of Brač, Hvar and Vis.

Along the Makarska Riviera , pebble beaches, turquoise waters and the Biokovo mountains overlooking the sea alternate, offering spectacular views. A little further on is Dubrovnik, the famous "Pearl of the Adriatic", enclosed by its imposing medieval walls.

Entering Montenegro, the Bay of Kotor offers one of the most evocative views of the entire Adriatic, with the historic cities of Kotor and Perast. Budva, with its Venetian old town and beaches, precedes a visit to Lake Shkodra, a natural paradise ideal for boat trips and bird watching.

The Albanian Riviera surprises with some of the most beautiful coastline in the Mediterranean. From Vlora to the Llogara Pass, to the beaches of Dhërmi, Himarë and Ksamil and the UNESCO site of Butrint, each stage offers unique scenery. Saranda is the ideal point to explore the coast and the spectacular source of the Blue Eye.

The last part of the journey leads to Greece, along the Epirus Coast, where Parga enchants with its Venetian castle and bays that can only be reached by sea. The navigation ends in Preveza, a city rich in history and gateway to ancient Nicopolis and the long beach of Monolithi.

In about two weeks, this itinerary allows you to discover the best of the Croatian, Montenegrin, Albanian and Greek coasts, alternating cities of art, natural parks, spectacular beaches and unforgettable days of sailing.

We spent a very good week with Tommaso on his beautiful sailboat. The weather was not always ideal for sailing, and the program could not be realized, but our skipper found us visits, restaurants and nice walks to console us. We discovered life on board and learned how to ride the boat. Too bad for the Maddalena, we just have to start again. With Tommaso maybe!

Palma and Menorca

We enjoyed a very pleasant sailing week leaving from Palma de Mallorca , coasting the eastern side of Mallorca, crossing to Menorca and reaching Mahon from the northern side of the island. Tommaso has been a very relaxed and competent skipper, always attentive to our requests and keen to discuss with us the best route to take on a daily basis. A memorable experience.
