This experience, in a nutshell

I propose a week on a sailing boat in Greece aboard a real lady of the sea from 1968, entirely made of wood.

It's not a catamaran, it's not a "comfortable" boat in the modern sense of the word — and that's the beauty of it. People don't come here for hotel comfort, but to experience the sea seriously.

The boat has 5 berths: two at the bow, two in the dinette and one at the stern (sailor's).

No private cabins, only berths, a bathroom and a kitchen: essential, sincere, like the navigation of the past. You sleep close together, you share the space, you listen to the wood creaking and the sea flowing under the keel. It's an authentic experience.

We will sail between Corfu, Sivota, Paxos and Antipaxos, touching spectacular and uncrowded bays.

After 10 years of sailing in Greece, I know the right routes, the most beautiful bays and above all the real taverns, those frequented by Greeks, far from mass tourism.

This proposal is for those who are not looking for modern luxury, but the wind in their faces, salt on the skin and time slowing down.

If you want a super comfortable boat, a catamaran is better.

If you want to experience the sea, then this is the right boat.

Our itinerary

Embarkation in Corfu and then continue to Sivota, Paxos and Antipaxos. Based on the weather conditions and the preferences of the group, we decide from time to time where to spend the night, whether in a bay or in a marina. Ionian Greece tends to have wind from 1 pm to 6 pm, so it is convenient to make a bay in the morning and sail in the afternoon to reach a bay or a village.

Disembarking in Corfu

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Claudio and Maura are great. They welcome you on their schooner and make you feel at home. The schooner is really nice and functional, and gives a great atmosphere. Maura and Claudio were immensely helpful in everything, starting from accompanying us and recovering us on the ground at every request, and at the same time they were very discreet. Always very attentive to everyone's needs. Highly recommended!

An enchanting stay! Maura and Claudio were very attentive to the needs and feelings of the passengers, and to their well-being. The exchanges were already very fluid from the first contacts. Their calm and serenity infuse a very soft atmosphere throughout the cruise, echoing the spirit of the schooner. The wooden schooner is absolutely superb, as in the photos. It gives the impression of dreaming. Every day we stopped in the port of a small charming village. Maura and Claudio lead us with great kindness to the ground with their tender, and this with great flexibility. The region is also very beautiful: a completely transparent sea with turquoise tones, a calm and beautiful sea, a lush coast, very welcoming villages. A cruise with this couple of skippers is an enchantment! It was the first time I boarded a schooner and left with Sailsquare, it won't be the last.!
