These are the expenses to be incurred during the experience and which include everything except what you will consume on land. The amount is paid on board.

A rigid suitcase on a boat is strictly forbidden :) because it takes up too much space and risks denting someone (or worse, the boat). Choose a duffel bag or backpack. If you have prepared your luggage well for the boating holiday, the rest is downhill.

Unless it's a regatta or a job – where there are very specific roles – everyone on the boat takes turns. Cooking (only for those who feel like it), arranging, helping with the rigging of the sails or mooring. If everyone collaborates, the work is enjoyable and part of the fun of the educational cruise.

There is democracy on a boat, of course. It is enough to do as the commander says.

This is right not only because it is his home, but because he is responsible for navigation and safety on board. Even those who have experience, if they are not in command, follow orders. You will see that the captain will use this authority for maneuvers or decisions on the route or according to the weather, certainly not to dictate what to prepare for dinner.

It will depend on how many guests book. For special needs please contact me. In this experience I have planned a maximum of 4 people (unless a group is booking) who will be divided into 2 cabins but if necessary the sofa in the saloon turns into a huge double bed. Out of respect for everyone, this will have to be agreed with the rest of the crew.

Both electricity and water are plentiful when you're in the ports, attached to the utility column. It doesn't mean waste, but that it's the right time to replenish your tanks and charge everything you have. When sailing, both resources are limited: the tanks have a defined capacity and the batteries are recharged only when the engine is running.

This is an experience designed to allow you to learn how to sail. I have taken the instructor's license and I am happy to share the skills with the guests. Of course, it doesn't mean that you have to work hard, but that you can get inspired. Although driving a sailboat seems very complicated, it only takes a couple of days to feel like you can steer it. Maybe not independently, but with great satisfaction. Let yourself be tempted!

Yes, of course there are no special rules for children other than that you don't run on a boat. However, it is very important that the captain first knows the details (age and weight) to check the presence of the appropriate safety equipment even for the little ones. Are you afraid they won't obey you? Pass the authority to the captain: if the rules come from the top, they will listen to them more willingly and understand that they are also part of the crew, just like the parents.

If you arrive by boat it is a 2 minute walk. From the mooring of the ship go towards the city, we are in the first pier on the left, about 200 meters away.

If you arrive by plane, given the temperatures, I recommend you take a taxi (they are a kind of taxi particular). You can find them at the exit but it may be convenient to book them. They cost between 15 and 20 euros even if it is a journey of less than 10 minutes. If you need a taxi please contact me and I will provide you with a couple of numbers

BY SEA: by ship with Siremar (about 11 hours) or by hydrofoil with Liberty Lines (4 hours) in both cases from Porto Empedocle (AG)

BY AIR: there are many direct flights, usually from Bergamo, Bologna, Forlì, Malta, Milan, Naples, Parma, Perugia, Rome, Turin, Venice, Verona. Otherwise you can make a stopover in Palermo or Catania where there are on average 3 or 4 flights a day to Lampedusa

During the experience you will not have any other expenses except what you will spend on land. A dinner organized by me is also included in the week, but those who want to have dinner on the boat will have the galley at their disposal to do so without spending any more money.
