This experience, in a nutshell
2nd level intensive-residential sailing course
For those who have some experience or have attended the first level course in order to become an active member of a crew during the day trips.
With this cabin cruiser sailing course you can deepen the basic topics and approach more advanced maneuvers on 12-meter sailing boats.
Topics covered: Improvement of manoeuvres, sail reduction, reefing hands, man overboard recovery, hints of charting, engine failures.
Procedure: the intensive residential course includes two daily sessions of about 3 hours each, meeting at the Molo Mediceo in the port of Livorno. Explanation of the maneuvers that will be deepened during the day, exit from the port and practical tests of the maneuvers with rotation of the crew in the roles on board (Helmsman, Mainsailer, Tailer).
Meeting on Saturday morning at 10.30 am at the port of Livorno, explanation of the educational program and outing at sea for practice exercises
Return to the mooring for a snack and a new outing for the second part of the day.
Free evening with the possibility of sleeping on the boat
On Sunday we wake up breakfast and then leave for the next lessons with the modality of the two daily sessions.
The course will end at about 5:30 p.m.
