This experience, in a nutshell

An alternative weekend in Venice.

We will sail along the canals of the Venetian lagoon skirting the islands of Pellestrina and its colorful houses, Malamocco and the island of Lido, arriving in Venice to moor with our boat in one of the marinas located at the eastern tip, less than 40 minutes walk from St. Mark's Square.

Among our destinations we could choose the island of Torcello or Burano or Poveglia, the island that in Venice they say is inhabited by ghosts.

During our days we will learn about the importance of tides and currents, phenomena that are prevalent here compared to the wind. They will determine the route to follow and will make us admire Venice and the lagoon from an unusual point of view.

We will moor every evening, favoring the equipped ports where you can find services, electricity and bathrooms: embarkation and disembarkation are scheduled from Sottomarina, the peninsula that separates Chioggia, a small lively and colorful Venice, from the Adriatic.

L'itinerario prevede la partenza da Chioggia con destinazione Venezia. In base alle condizioni meteo si sceglierà una rotta esterna, uscendo dalla bocca di porto di Chioggia e rientrando poi dalla bocca di porto del Lido, oppure una rotta interna costeggiando l'isola di Pellestrina e del Lido Torcello e/o la Certosa nel giorno successivo con ritorno a Chioggia l'ultimo giorno
