This experience, in a nutshell

This wonderful experience will be dedicated to hospitality, friendship, relaxation and, above all, sailing, discovering fantastic coves with crystal clear waters in which to dive, sunbathe and savor the pleasure of unspoiled nature.

The port of embarkation is located in the hamlet of Salivoli, a few miles from Elba. In a few hours of navigation you can reach the most beautiful coves of the island and the main ports: you can really say that Elba is close at hand.

In a single weekend you can decide, depending on the wind, to visit the coves on the east side (Portoazzurro) or on the north side (Marciana Marina or, weather permitting and with a great desire to sail, circumnavigate Elba, anchoring and swimming in the most beautiful and evocative coves, often reachable only by boat).

If the weather conditions allow it, it is possible to sail to Capraia, to spend a night there too.

There will be the possibility to help in the management of the boat.

The boat, 15 meters long, has 4 double cabins, all with private bathrooms, ample space and equipment for ocean navigation. It is fast, safe and equipped with a large spray hood awning, aft shower with easy access to water, water and hot shower below deck, refrigerator, ice machine, kitchen with grill and oven, espresso machine, TV, stereo, inverter and much more. During navigation, if possible, you can practice trolling.

Our itinerary

Elba is located in a favorable position from a meteorological point of view. In addition, its position and conformation give it a particular quality in terms of safety: being the largest island in the archipelago, it can boast a myriad of shelters, bays and coves, with ports everywhere and protection from all winds. Often, while the other islands in certain weather situations may not be reachable by boat, Elba offers many chances to be reached safely. Its proximity to Piombino almost always allows you to leave and complete the planned holiday.

That said: navigation will be carried out mainly starting from Salivoli, aiming according to the wind and visiting bays and coves. At the moment we will decide whether to anchor or enter the port, subject to availability.

Weather permitting, it is also possible to go to Capraia.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

I had wanted to sail to the Grenadines for a long time. I am overall quite satisfied with the holiday, despite a bit of tension between a crew member and the captain

Canary-Martinique Atlantic crossing. Adventure of a lifetime!

I am sorry to have to point out the serious shortcomings of the skipper in making the crew find a boat in order and safely to face such a long journey. No sail of respect, the bow old and worn, serious leaks of diesel in the bilge resulting in unbearable smell under deck, we finished the gas a week before arrival ... These are just some of the serious shortcomings of the skipper.----------------------SPOWER OF THE SKIPPER----------------------Caro Federico, I read your review and report the following. I did 7 Atlantic crossings, one of which was completely solo: I don't think I have to take sailing lessons. I can't hide from you that the relationships were difficult with the whole crew. What you call "old and worn sail" brought you all a day early to Martinique, so I do not consider your criticisms valid because with the facts I have shown something else. Unfortunately, contrary to what you told me, none of the crew was actually able to stay at the helm and in the only half hour in which the autopilot did not work there were several moments of difficulty. You boarded believing you were taking a regular sailing cruise and not an Atlantic crossing of over 20 days in the middle of the ocean. I can't even forget your behavior when after being sick in the bathroom you didn't bother to clean in the slightest and left the task to me. The only thing I would like to give you, in part, reason for concerns the loss of diesel, caused by a job done badly by the mechanic and then solved.
