Approximately from Catania the road trip to Milazzo takes about 1 hour 30-2 h, from Messina 40-60 minutes and from Palermo 3-3 h 30; Times vary depending on traffic. Vehicles can be embarked on ferries from lines that provide car transport; The island itself cannot be reached by road.

The reference station is Milazzo Station; from Messina regional trains connect Milazzo in about 30-50 minutes, from Catania the connection via Messina generally takes 1 h 30-2 h in total and from Palermo the journey, with change in Messina, can take 3-4 hours. From Milazzo station to the port the distance is short and taxis and local connections are available; Train timetables and ferry connections vary depending on the season.

✈️ By plane
The nearest airports are Catania-Fontanarossa (CTA) and, to a lesser extent, Palermo-Falcone and Borsellino (PMO); Catania is the most used option for connections with land connections to Milazzo, with road transfers of about 1 hour 30-2 hours by car or bus. From the airport it is possible to continue by car rental, bus or private transfer to the ports of embarkation; some seasonal air routes connect Naples and other Italian cities directly to Palermo or Catania.

I recommend a soft luggage, such as a duffel bag, to be able to stow it comfortably. Bring clothing that includes a hat, sweatshirts, t-shirts, a waterproof jacket, but above all... lots of costumes! I forgot... protective creams... The sun is beating down!

The hairdryer, hair straighteners and other appliances that work with 220V current (the one at home), which could only be used during stops in ports, when the column for connection to the electricity grid is available. Please note that the use of air conditioning is only available in marinas.

Small pets are allowed on board but only if you book the entire boat and upon written request to be submitted via the messaging system BEFORE booking.

The boat is equipped with both 12V sockets (with USB and/or cigarette lighter connectors) that can normally be used at any time, and 220V sockets that can only be used when docked in ports, once connected to the charging stations on the quay.

Usually, we moor in a bay at night, with the possibility of going ashore using the dinghy. However, we will stop in port, as planned in the itinerary, to refill our water and/or provisions, as well as to enjoy a pleasant evening ashore.
