The reference stations on the mainland to reach the ports of embarkation are Genoa Piazza Principe/Brignole, Livorno Centrale, Roma Termini (connection to Civitavecchia) and Napoli Centrale; Frecciarossa/Italo, Intercity and regional trains pass through these stations allowing you to continue to the indicated ports. Starting from the island, the arrival station in Sardinia is Olbia Centrale; from there Portisco can be accessed by car or local bus services in about 25-40 minutes.

The nearest airport is Olbia Costa Smeralda (OLB): the transfer by taxi or car from the airport to Portisco takes about 20-35 minutes for a distance of around 22-25 km; at the airport there are taxi services, car rental and bus connections to Olbia station. As alternatives, the airports of Alghero and Cagliari can be considered with significantly longer road transfer times and possible ferry or road connections to reach Olbia and then Portisco.

Ferries to Olbia depart mainly from Genoa, Livorno, Civitavecchia and Naples; the approximate durations are: Genoa-Olbia 10-12 hours, Livorno-Olbia 6-8 hours, Civitavecchia-Olbia 5-7 hours depending on the service (ferry or hydrofoil). The boat has 4 double cabins with en-suite bathrooms, there are no bunk cabins. Once the crew has been formed or directly at check-in, the accommodation is decided together, trying not to create mixed cabins unless it is accepted by both passengers.

For the galley I leave the choice to the crew, I don't like to impose anything. We usually rely on an online order service and delivery directly to the boat at check-in, thus avoiding time at the supermarket and anticipating departure. Once booked, you can organize yourself in advance.

The skipper helps out, but meal preparation is a shared activity among all participants in the experience.

If you reserve the entire boat for yourself, the detailed itinerary can be agreed upon with the skipper. Otherwise, changes can be agreed upon as long as all participants on board agree.

Usually at night we stop at the mooring in a roadstead, with the possibility of going ashore using the tender. However, we will stop in the port, as organized with the crew, to refuel with water and / or galley, as well as to be able to spend a pleasant evening on land.
